This ram works at DDR3-1600 (800MHz) as stated if you know how to tweak bio settings. Only grip is CAS 9, but for the price I paid, this is pretty good for my need.
All my computers use OCZ ram exclusively, from laptop to desktop. Their support forum is very helpful, it helped me with rebate and tuning in couple times.
to build a pc for my friend.
After using it, my friend told me that he's been suffering from a fatal error (Memory-Management) in his pc (Blue Screen). Later, after searching around and around, I've found the memory doesnt meet its adv title.
When I checked the pc specifications using Everest, it shows me this info:
Module Name OCZ OCZ3OB1600LV2G
Memory Speed DDR3-1066 (533 MHz)
Ive built the same pc but with CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB ( 2 X 2GB ) PC3-10666 1333MHz 240-pin DDR3 CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit - TW3X4G1333C9DHX, and it works fine.
now, I'm in contact with amazon to replace it.
I contacted OCZ support and they claimed that the memory has only been qualified for Intel i5/i7 systems even though nowhere on the packaging does it mention that.
