I honestly shouldn't even give the book that much. It seemed to me Mr. Parker and his friends wrote this book with the sole intention of humiliating and making fun of the people they went on blind dates with. I feel bad for those poor people that had to deal with them and their crap. This book was very quickly removed from my collection upon completion before it could taint the rest

This book's biggest flaw is going off topic half the time. I expected more details as to how these websites operate rather than specifics of sexual encounters. The writing is uneven and the people profiled come across as narcissists. Small wonder they connect only online.

This book is kind of slapped together stories from different people, mostly written stream-of-consciousness with no editing. Also the people are mostly all really superficial, young party kids. But all the stories are funny as hell.

First of all, I gave this book two stars because I finished it. This is evidence that I was at least somehow entertained enough by it to finish it.

However, the cast of characters is a most unlikeable bunch. The title of most vapid and shallow is a tie between Courtney (the man-eater aka gold digger) or Megan (aka- the girl who does everything to act like a hipster, but yet does not want to be called one). It depresses me that a school system somewhere trusts Courtney to educate and be a role model for their children. And when I read that Megan goes everywhere and does everything (even dates) with two of her "besties", I had to scroll back and check how old she was. That's early teenage s***, not something a 26 year old woman does. No wonder neither of those girls had actual success in their stories.

I most enjoyed Brandon (who was at least honest in his initial manwhore-ness, and then made the switch to make actual connections) and Beth (who despite having the propensity to overuse the word "Yay", still managed to come across as someone whose story I cared about).

I'm just really glad I didn't pay for this. Rather than being billed as a collection of "online dating" tales, it should have just been labeled as "drivel about random sex and using people".

Like, wow, omg, it felt like a teenage girl wrote the entire book. It makes me glad I'm no longer single.
