OKO H2O takes the concept of the eco-friendly water container one step further with NASA derived advanced filtration technology, packaged in a smartly designed contoured bottle with a super-light, high-tech blend of materials - ensuring that you’re always drinking safe, pure, potable water. OKO’s patented filter media uses positively charged electro-adsorption process to attract harmful agents and then kill bacteria on the filter surface using silver ions. Unlike inferior bottles, OKO bottles are made of thin wall food grade polypropylene (as in food storage containers) and have passed stringent SGS testing for FDA food grade compliance. OKO offers one free bottle per customer in case of accidental damage. OKO bottles are the ideal choice for everyday use, travelers, adventurers, hikers, yogis, runners, and anyone who needs convenient access to clean, clear, crisp water. You may consider one for your boat, RV and disaster preparedness kit. With 3 sizes, 6 colors, and 3 levels of filters, it’s easy to find the ÖKO bottle that’s right for you. The bottle cap is made of Tritan, a BPA-free clear hard plastic that allows you to see the filter in action as you drink. The O-ring carabiner makes it easy to carry or hook the bottle onto a bag. It is dishwasher safe and the wide mouth top makes it easy to clean! . OKO bottles ensure you are never without clean, pure, and fresh water wherever you go.

The Oko is just as effective as the Bota at eliminating bad flavor in the water. From every water source I got water, it tasted spring-pure. Check out the company's web site for an impressive demonstration video on its filtering effectiveness.
I've also used the Sawyer squeeze-bag/filter device and to be honest, I'm not a fan of it. I do like the ability to back-flush the Sawyer but the bags come apart at the neck seam fairly easily when squeezed too hard, which is easy to do when you're in a hurry. Also, the bags are almost impossible to fill by dunking in still water, they simply collapse on themselves. If I have to carry a "dirty" bottle simply to fill the bag, I'll choose to carry the Oko. When you've got flowing water, especially little pour-overs, the bags are simple to fill. The Oko is easily to fill in any water unless it's really shallow.
One word of caution, when empty the bottle is quite top-heavy so take care when setting it down on an open slope. With nothing to stop it, it will be gone in a flash. Thankfully I learned that one with a Gatoraid bottle.

I took it to Panama thinking it has Nasa technology, when I ran the tests with my Zero water tester, it reduced the content from 77 to 75
In Canada our water is naturally 14, with the filter stayed at 13.
Not sure if I just received crap, but I'd never buy it again
I simply put the bottle in the dishwasher, and after the heat dry I removed it, filled with water and screwed the cap back on. No more leaks, and I'm drinking my delicious material free water once more!
