I have just finished reading book 5 and 6 and this is my last purchase in this series. The more you read this series the more ridiculous the story becomes. Battle after battle with millions being killed and somehow they always win. This story line has become so bad that I just cannot waste my time reading this series anymore. I bought book 5 and 6 at the same time else I would have never bought book 6. SAVE YOUR MONEY, buy the first 4 books only --- this is where the series should have ended!
Stephen’s style is very comfortable, he writes about the details concerning the technology and story lines he decides to look into and in passes over others to keep the story moving. Understood, but sometimes I do wish for additional details. The way he gives more details is by having additional books that dive into more of the stuff you might be curious about.
Thanks Stephen for your writing and the nice books as I’ve enjoyed them.
5 stars, good characters, nice story, engaging but in some area a bit less depth to some interesting characters where I would enjoy more details.
Story pacing could use some work. It seemed like when a certain page count was reached, the author would in a few pages just end the story.
All in all, I enjoyed. I did eventually buy and read. all of Omega.
