Stephen’s style is very comfortable, he writes about the details concerning the technology and story lines he decides to look into and in passes over others to keep the story moving. Understood, but sometimes I do wish for additional details. The way he gives more details is by having additional books that dive into more of the stuff you might be curious about.
Thanks Stephen for your writing and the nice books as I’ve enjoyed them.
5 stars, good characters, nice story, engaging but in some area a bit less depth to some interesting characters where I would enjoy more details
But, as with many of Stephen's self published books, the editing still needs better attention.... Misspelled words, or the wrong words inserted where they shouldn't be, and some punctuation miscues.
Overall, a very good story with lots of adventure and plot twists to keep a reader interested.
Beats getting the snot kicked out of the hero in chapters 1-3, and rebuilding the rest of the book to rinse & repeat in each additional book (or reverse order, whole book builds up to have it all ruined in the last 3 chapters like most fantasy books out there).
These books are the SciFi equivalent of the steamy summer beach novels that no one wants to admit they read . . . . fun, fast-pased, not at all complicated, and they don't make you stop and think about anything.
One more book to find out what the future of the AMP will be and knowing the author it will be another enjoyable rollercoaster.. Can't wait for the ride
