About the Author

Jodi Ellen Malpas was born and raised in the Midlands town of Northampton, UK, where she lives with her family. Working for the family construction business fulltime and with the prospect of taking it over once her father retired, she tried to ignore the lingering idea of writing a novel until it became impossible. She finally found the time and courage to release her creative streak and in October 2012 self-published This Man as an e-book. She took a chance on a story with some intense characters, notably Mr. Jesse Ward, the Lord of the Manor, and sparked incredible reactions from women all over the world. Two months later, Jodi made the decision to give up her day job to concentrate on her new and very unexpected career in writing.

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

I think it's fair to say this series just didn't do it for me. The sexy, shocking man that was Miller Hart got left in Promised and didn't show back up. I got bored in Denied and should have stopped there, but I didn't I had to see what happened. I had to see if I could get back into the story. Unfortunately I could not.

While Unveiled is better than Denied it still lacked something. It was very drawn out. I found myself skimming throughout until the last 30-40%. One thing JEM can do is write a sex scene but even those were annoying me. There were just so many of them. The angst between them, the making up, the jealous possessiveness by both of them became repetitive.

I do enjoy JEM's writing style and look forward to her future works but I am glad this one is over.

So glad I have finally finished this series and I can move on...I did not enjoy it at all...still don't know why I continued with the series after disliking the first one so much but I did and now I'm done. I hope her next line of books are better. This series was a flop but I loved her This Man series.

By this book I had had enough. Best part was last 30% or so. It just drug on!!! I found my self skipping over the intimacy scenes just to get to the meat. And frankly, I would have given up if I hadn't wanted to know how this ended. Epilogue is little long. Not sure in the point. This really could have been condensed into 2 books.

I'm sorry but this series just didn't do it for me. I waited until all 3 were released because I was so excited for this series after reading her This Man series, which I loved. Unfortunately though, I was very disappointed with this one. This book was just too all over the place for me. One minute they were fighting and Olivia was totally insane and in the next breath they were having sex and doing their "thing" that I totally despised by the way! I also hated the let me taste you part, it really made me dislike the books. Why oh why couldn't they just say kiss because taste was just totally gross to me.

This man series I have read at least 3 times but this series I will not be reading again. The situations were just too crazy and not realistic and also very predictable. I figured out her parentage in the first book, it was so obvious and just took too long to come out. I did love Nan, she was great and so was her and Olivia's relationship. Miller was just too odd and unpredictable throughout all 3 books. I didn't like his terminology and his temper although it made for some excitement. So anyway, I'm giving this book 3 stars and the entire series 3 stars. I didn't love it but I didn't totally hate it either so I'm going right down the middle with this one.

We’ve come to the end of the One Night Trilogy and I savored every last word of this final book.

The story picks up in New York City, two weeks after Miller and Olivia fled London and the “interferers”. We see a more casual side to Miller (clad in jeans!) as the couple fills their days with sightseeing and nurturing their love. However, they are soon forced to return to London and must face the hard questions that Olivia has been avoiding. How can Miller truly be free from his past? How much does Nan know? Did she really see her mother in the airport? Is their love strong enough to hold them together through anything?

It was nice to see how much Miller has grown. Gone is the Miller who frequently flew into jealous psychotic rages in an instant. It was as if he had grown more secure in Olivia’s love. His obsessive compulsions also seem to be more relaxed. What’s not more relaxed are the sex scenes. The steam factor increased significantly in this book!

While I would like to have seen more of the secondary characters Gregory, Nan and George, I think fans of the series will find this a very satisfying conclusion. The epilogue from Miller’s POV is a nice bonus for readers.

Jodi Ellen Malpas outdid herself, with this captivating trilogy, in book 3 and riveting conclusion. Bringing suspense to the surface, it is combined with excitement, suspense, jealousy, sex, love, mystery, and utter betrayal. It's a must-read.....(18+).......Following their escape to New York City, Olivia "Livy" Taylor, was amazed with the asphalt jungle, but even more amazed , by being with the love of her life, Miller "M" Hart. It had been frightening to say the least, to escape with their lives, and she would do it again, if it meant she would be with Miller for the rest of her life, but she also knew that the threat wasn't over, and never would be, all because Miller gave up his old life just for her. But the threat was going to be more dangerous than ever, when news from home forces them to return, and without any notice at all, Livy's past and her deep hidden sins rises to the surface, causing even more danger than she ever thought possible. Will Miller still care about her when he discovers the truth, she desperately tried to conceal? Never believing in the notion of love before, Miller couldn't have been further from the truth, because for the first time in his entire life, he truly loved Livy, but when attempts are made on her life, he not only knows what to do next, in order to protect her at all costs, but he also knew without a doubt, that he would probably die before the night was over. But thinking that he had everything under control, he couldn't have been more wrong, because nothing would prepare him for the shocking revelation of Livy's past, crashing head-on with his current occupation, straight to the core of his own existence. Will love be strong enough to keep them together?.........fantastic trilogy by Miss Malpas.....thank you.....♡♡
