Product Description

Stylish yet affordable helmet with built-in Bluetooth and good airflow. The Fastrack II is the second iteration of the popular Oneal Bluetooth helmet that allows Bluetooth compatible GPS, cellular phones and other media devices to easily sync with the system so you can listen to your turn-by-turn directions or stream to the built-in stereo speakers. With no wire hanging out or cumbersome mic against your mouth, the Fastrack II helmet integrates all the communications technology you need into a quality, protective lid. The BLINC Bluetooth module is also a brilliantly simple solution to wirelessly communicate from bike to bike or rider to passenger.

O'Neal Fastrack II--Easy Bluetooth Connectivity with a Lightweight, Stylish Design

Stylish and comfortable, the O'Neal Fastrack II helmet features an advanced, lightweight design and comes equipped with an integrated Blinc Bluetooth communication system--allowing riders to talk, listen to music, or hear GPS directions.

Bluetooth Connectivity for Easy Talk, Tunes & GPS

The O'Neal Fastrack II uses the world renowned Blinc brand Bluetooth integrated system. It is perfect for tethering several A2DP devices together. If you are streaming your music via Bluetooth and your phone rings, you can answer or reject it. If you answer, the music stops. When you hang up, it begins playing where it left off. You can also use this device as a 1-to-1 intercom system for rider-to-passenger open mic communication. One of the best features is that each rider can listen to their own music, make their own calls (provided each has a Bluetooth enabled phone), or talk to each other with the intercom feature.

Advanced Design for Superior Comfort and Protection

The Fastrack II is constructed using PrePreg fiberglass and nylon cross woven construction, an advanced manufacturing process typically reserved for exotic Italian cars and high end composite aeronautical parts. This production technique is very rare for motorcycle helmets, and results in an extraordinarily uniform and precise shell design. Each shell is weighed and must be within 50 grams of the stated weight on the back of the helmet in order to pass strict quality controls.

This also results in a shell that is very light weight. Additionally, O'Neal uses three different outer shell sizes throughout the 6 sizes available (XS-2X), ensuring that the helmet looks proportionate on your body. Many other brands only use a single shell size across their different helmet sizes, resulting in a disproportionate look.

The oversized spoiler on the top of the helmet is one of its most clever features. It has been designed to pull the tornadic buffeting that occurs on the rear of all helmets away from the rear of the helmet. This makes the helmet much quieter and more stable at highway speeds.

The interior of the Fastrack II features Quad-Core EPS design. This is composed of five separate pieces of EPS (Expanded Poly Styrene) with four different densities. They fit together like a jigsaw puzzle to create a lightweight helmet that provides superior protection.

The face shield is made to be easy to remove and replace. Simply open the shield, pull the hook tab, and the shield will release. To reinstall it, simply mate the circular center piece in the "up" position and it will snap back into place. This makes changing shields at twilight simple and functional. The clear shield included is treated with both anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings. There are also smoke and chrome shields available for purchase separately.

I was very hesitant to order this helmet without trying it on in person. However, the sizing chart I found online was dead on and the critical reviews proved false (at least on the one I received).

First, the helmet is very nice to look at (I've already had a few people comment on how good it looks).

Second, the Bluetooth is very easy to set up, is attached sturdily to the inside, and works as well as you should expect (i.e., it's no Bose sound quality, but it's crisp, clear, and loud enough to hear).

Third, with the vents open, I experienced no fogging, even while wearing sunglasses.

Overall, I think this is a steal for the price. In fact, I just ordered one for my wife as well.

Comfortable
Bluetooth works sufficiently well for turn-by-turn navigation
So far, i've never killed the battery (used it on a 5 hour trip)
Other visors available, I got the light smoke tint and it's goood

Cons:
I wish it were SNELL approved

Got this helmet last week. Bluetooth seems to work fine. Speaker quality is cheap though. The first time I wore it, I was out in the morning (around 70 deg weather). There seemed to be some water / moisture accumulation towards the top of the helmet. In about the next 10 minutes, that moistur like substance started crystallizing. Turns out, whatever that accumulation was, it was not water and it would not come off. When I tried to wipe it using my hand, I had plastic all over my hand. Tried to find a replacement, and that sells for 35-40$.

I'm going to try and return the helmet. Strongly recommend not buying this cheap poorly built piece of junk. No word from O'Neal, their 'live' chat is not live (no response). All in all, very disappointed with the purchase.

This helmet is super comfy! The mic picks up audio great, and the speakers can get loud enough to drown out engine and wind noise (not completely). I've tested music and phone calls with this. I can't ceem to get it to skip tracks, which is a bummer, but voice commands to work!
I've painted mine with rustoleum plastic spray (plastidip is better) a base matte red w/ black vents, and it looks awesome!

I haven't been able to test out the intercom feature, which I believe is limited to 30meters. A lot shorter than the aftermarket addons.

I haven't been in a crash, so I can't say for the safety, however the padding is thick, removable, and inner foam is strong and thick as well. This helmet is both DOT and ECE certified.

If you are looking for a starter/passengrr helmet, I recommend this. If you have an awesome helmet already, go with a Bluetooth add-on - if your looking for Bluetooth functions.
This helmet can work with any Bluetooth intercom addons

The helmet is good, but two of the trim pieces want to fall off which I think leads to some of the "low quality" comments in the review. The structure of the helmet seems fine, the padding is nice and tight as it should be, but there is a little pad/air deflector under the chin and up by the nose that both want to pull out, especially if you grab the helmet around the chin protector.

At first I thought the helmet was too tight, but after reading around they are supposed to be tight, and the padding has broken in to fit my head and it seems very comfortable now. I have a size 8 hat and the XXL fits about perfect. The hardest part is actually getting my head through the opening. My glasses fit well and are still able to rest on my ear, but do sometimes get pushed at an off angle by the padding, but generally stay where I put them.

My complaint is with the Bluetooth, it is really clunky interface. Hold for 4 seconds to turn on, like 6 seconds to turn off, like 7 or 8 seconds to pair. Volume knob only turns up one click with a turn, you can't hold it, etc. The BT could be a lot better. If my phone is in my rear pocket it cuts in and out so it has to be in my jacket pocket. Speaker volume is tinny, but didn't expect any less, I keep it turned way down so I can still hear traffic.

The helmet looks nice, I like that it has BT so I can listen to my streaming music, and with the visor closed the helmet is very quiet on the highway at 50 mph without too much wind, above 60 it does start getting fairly noisy. With the visor up you might have trouble hearing the audio without turning it way up. The face shield has a weird color shift with my polarized sunglasses, but probably due to its anti-shatter nature. So yes, I would buy again, seems to be a good value helmet even including Bluetooth.

Not bad, better than the cheapo helmet that came with my bike, but not good enough for the price, I was expecting better quality, I don't expect the visor joints will last much. The sound quality is terrible, no bass at all and the speakers get overdriven easily, it turns off randomly and I have to stop on the side of the road to turn it on again.

The padding on the back fell off on the road, I didn't notice it until I got home, the battery charging port protective plug is very small and not attached to the helmet, it is asking to get lost (it did on mine). For that price the visor should be anti-fog, it is not, I had to buy an anti-fog film to stick it on the inside of the visor to avoid fog and on the outside to avoid rain drops to stay on the visor and block visibility.

If I can sell it I will buy something else, you should buy something else as well.
