These did the trick nicely. Routed a recess across the center-line of the plaque and made a little notch on the "south" side of it to allow the head of a nail to be able to get under the hangar.
If you're having problems setting the nails in tight areas, just use long needle-nose pliers to set the nails in and then tap the nails in with a hammer and punch.

These are really featherweight, both the hanger and the nails are weak and bend out of shape with the slightest pressure.Published 9 months ago by Liz
They work well, as advertised, and are easy to apply. They are quite tiny, though, even for my hands and I'm pretty sure I have average size hands.Published on July 13, 2014 by Cody-John Apana

I thought it was unusually difficult to see the little brads & get them just right on the wall.
I'm sure they're terrific if you install them right.
These are super mall. The nails are REALLY small and made it a real pain to try to nail in. I actually had to use needle nose pliers to hold the nail while I hammered them in. Read morePublished on September 5, 2013 by kola1079
These hangers are perfect for light weight items, 5 pounds is no problem for them and the price is right. I will purchase them again.Published on August 22, 2013 by William D Whitaker
