For anything under 70 amps, I don't think you can beat the XT-60 connectors. They hold really well, are easy to connect and disconnect, and they are easy to solder without burning the connector's housing.

When soldering these, make sure your iron is good and hot, to transfer the heat needed to the connector and wire in roughly 10 - 15 seconds. Holding the heat any longer will cause the connector housing to get "soft" and potentially cause one of the terminals to point crooked.

When soldering these, also connect the other end of the connector, to help dissipate the heat from the connector being soldered.

I bought these connectors to replace some Astroflight connectors that I have used for years. Nothing is better than the Astroflight connectors, but these XT60 connectors are 1/10 the price of Astroflight and are nearly as good. You will need a heavy duty soldering iron to solder wires to these - especially silicon type power cables. My 40 Watt iron just barely does the job. A 60 Watt iron would make the job much easier. Since you cannot remove the connector pins from the sockets to wire them, you can't use a micro torch to solder up these connectors, so have a good iron handy.

Also, not all XT60 connectors are the same. I bought some here at Amazon, and some cheaper ones from another supplier. The cheap XT60s had extremely shallow pin sockets - meaning a wire could only be inserted into the soldering socket about 4mm, whereas the Amazon XT60s provided a much deeper soldering socket, allowing for a much larger soldering area and more secure joint. So this is a case of you get what you pay for.

These connectors provide a tight fit, and the mating pairs must be lined up perfectly to connect them together. They also require a strong pull to demate them. No concerns about loose connections with this product.

For applications requiring 65 amps or less, I don't think you can do better than these for the money.

I noticed a tendency on a couple reviews on this product to downgrade the performance of the connectors based on the tightness and difficulty in separating the connectors. This is a feature of XT60 connectors, they were built to take force to remove. I've used many different brands from many different suppliers, both cheap, expensive, and in between. They all in their own style take a good deal of force to separate. If you are looking for a product which takes little effort to come apart, you are looking at the wrong product, and I would recommend something of the dean's type, or even the dean's micro pin connector. I have had good experience with those.

These came quickly with no issues with shipping, and like any other cheap connectors I have purchased, were not the most precise or high tolerance parts. However they had no problems mating with the other xt60 connectors I have on all of my RC batteries, nor mating with each other as I tried it out on all of them in a pile. I have experienced with other purchases connectors which could not handle the temps of soldering when done even very efficiently. On one of these I took quite a long time slipping up a few times trying to get the solder worked in like I wanted. The plastic did not melt on any of these which I used, both the ones I did well and quick, and the ones that took longer, so as far as temperature tolerance, they worked great.

Going back to the issue brought up in other reviews where this product was docked stars for the high force required in separating, that is what an XT60 connector is supposed to do. If you are therefore looking for a connector which will come apart with ease and little force, these are not what you are looking for. That does not however, make these an inferior product.

These are quality made XT60 connectors which work well when using high heat and are a harder material than most. Much better than others I've purchased.

great value. if you are new to these connectors, you need to use some care to keep from ruining the connector from the heat as you solder on your wires, especially the male copper/female plastic end - the plastic shell can collapse and the male copper connectors can shift enough out of parallel as the plastic softens to make your new cable assembly useless. I use them enough that I made a pair of XT60's into a dedicated 'solder fixture' to keep the connector I am soldering from distorting too much. to make the fixture, I carefully drilled into the wire end of the connectors and glued a mating pair of these back to back connecting them with stiff steel wire so the exposed copper male plug and and female socket connectors will always stay exactly parallel no matter how much I melt the plastic around them. I clamp my little solder fixture in a vise exposing the appropriate end, slide on the connector I intend to solder, carefully attach my wires, and then wiggle it a bit before removing from the fixture while it's all still hot so that it will easily attach to it's actual mating connector later.

EDIT: I am updating my review and adding one more star after doing more testing with several brands, including the "genuine" type with the Amass name molded into them. All brands have pretty inconsistent fit. Its easy to address with very fine sandpaper to fine tune the thickness. These ones have more leftover sprue burrs than other brands but its not a performance issue when connecting them. I have not soldered any of these yet.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I tried these because they cost a fraction of the "US Shipped" ones (which I also got for comparison and did a review of.) These ones were poor quality compared to the more expensive ones. They are very difficult to plug and unplug. I can probably hit the female side with a little sandpaper and improve the fit, but that might make them too loose when I connect with other brands male halves. The fault seems to be with the housing of the male side being too tight. I fit the female into the male of the more expensive model and it was pretty good. Maybe I'll work on a way to sand the interior of the male housing. My next order will be for the more expensive ones.
