Mini QD Loop Recommended Connection Types
Cameras with lugs designed for use with split rings are typically not de-burred as precisely as other connectors; therefore, we recommend using split rings so that there is no risk of damage to the strap from being cut by sharp edges or burrs in the lug.

(Actually, I went ahead and got the 1mm size, too, because I wasn't sure if the 1.5mm ones would fit through my camera's eyelets or not, and at this price, why not try both? Fortunately the 1.5mm ones fit, which gives me peace of mind, although truthfully even the 1mm ones still feel strong enough I would have gone ahead and happily used them if necessary.)
I use these for several Fuji mirrorless cameras. It really takes the pain out of detaching your straps when you don't need them (such as when you use your camera around the home). As you know, having a camera strap on can be a liability at home when you're picking them up off of a table or from a shelf. I've had straps get caught on things yanking the camera out of my hand multiple times. Now I just keep straps off when I'm not outside.
I would caution you to check them regularly with the new Fuji mirrorless cameras. These new Fujis have a serviceable ring inside the lug holes which have a seam on them. The edge is potentially sharp and could hypothetically sever the strings if there was enough of a sustained sawing motion. I haven't seen this personally yet, but there are quite a few Fuji forum members who have warned about this. I don't recall ever seeing a true reported case, so this is largely speculation and paranoia i suppose!
