Okay, so I first saw this at my hair salon when the collection was out, and I didn't buy it, figuring, How hard is it to find blue glitter nail polish? Answer, if you want a warmer toned blue that's actually a pure glitter, nearly impossible. So yeah, years later I found it again on Amazon, and instead of paying the $8.50 or so I think the salon charged at the time, I paid a premium for it...but I love it! Be prepared to use a couple of topcoat layers, and for the sake of removal sanity use a base coat as well, since this is a pure glitter and it will act like sandpaper when you're ready to take it off again. (But it's so pretty I don't care!) Now if I could only find a similar glitter color in green...the Muppet collection was close, but I want a pure mini-glitter in emerald tones, similar to this one...but I really like this standout color, and am trying not to think about what I spent for it...side note, it was packaged beautifully for shipping and I got it three days faster than I had expected.
I love this color. It is absolutely gorgeous. It takes two good coats to get opacity but it is worth it. In the sunlight it just lights up. The nailpolish is entirely glitter, it's awesome. I would definitely recommend it. I put it on with a clear basecoat and topcoat and it been nearly a week and only have very minor chips. So not only is it pretty, but it stays on as well. This one shipped quickly as well, had it within 2 days.
First of all, I am an OPI girl. I have an entire shelf in my bathroom for this brand of nail polish... it's kind of a problem (in the best way!) Absolutely Alice is one is one of my favorites. What an amazing color! I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it, it really is eye-catching. One of the reasons I love OPI so much is that generally, the colors last on my nails for a long time. However, this one tends to chip. Fast. Even with a solid basecoat and topcoat. This is the first color I've tried of OPI that chips so fast. Plus, because of all the glitter, it is a huge pain to remove (but what glitter nail polish isn't?)
I first tried this polish when I got a pedicure a few years back. I love it so much I remembered to write down the name and go find it for myself. Well, it took me 6 months to find it and couldn't be happier. It's hard to get off - that's the only bad part. But it's worth it.
