Suggested Use: Adults and children over 12 years: One serving up to 2 times daily. Best taken before or between meals.Mix serving size with at least 8 oz of water, juice or your favorite beverage. Love this. I mix it in orange juice right before bed and it does a amazing job. I noticed a huge difference since taking this. Makes u feel full longer and helps with regularity. ( if u know what I mean ) I'm no longer bloated. There are many health benefits for using psylluim including lowering your risk of heart disease.
Heres what I love about organic India's organic whole husk psyllium.
1) it's organic! This is a big deal for me I only use organic chemical free products.
2. Non GMO product
They use no synthetic pesticides,chemical fertilizer or treatment are not ever used.
3. Flavor isn't all that bad. Like I mentioned above I add it to orange juice and drink really fast and I can't taste anything other than the orange juice.
4. I'm not bloated anymore
5. Tmi but my hemorrhoids have gone away since using this product.
6. The price is affordable I don't have to break the bank to buy organic in this case.

I would definitely recommend buying this brand if you are wanting to try organic psylluim.

I'm a big fan of psyllium husk as part of a healthy diet. Our modern diet consists of low-fiber processed foods that our bodies have not evolved to accept. The basic mechanism of action is purely mechanical. Psyllium husk absorbs water and turns into a slippery, jello-like substance that your body cannot digest. As this lubed-up mass slides through your colon, it takes with it all sorts of garbage that would probably prefer to just hang out in your poop tube. The result is a perfect, solid corn loaf and a squeaky clean digestive tract that is ready for another round of grandma's cooking. If you take enough of the stuff, your anus will walk away cleaner than a microchip clean room. You'll be able to close down your soft-serve ice cream stand for the season. No need to wipe here, folks. Leave that toilet paper at the store - where it belongs.

Don't let them fool you with the labeling. There's nothing special about "organic" psyllium husk unless it gives you that warm and fuzzy knowing that you're crapping out nature's finest mucilage. It's all about the same, and it all works. This particular brand does not use any flavoring or colors, leaving just a can of raw husks, which tastes like drinking a cup of something you scraped off of your lawn mower blade. When mixed with a protein shake or anything else with flavor, it blends in just fine. If you find it at a good price, go ahead and buy this stuff. Your body will thank you.

Ok, this is a touchy subject so lets be subtle. I had some high cholesterol readings despite that I am 168lbs and pretty fit for a half century. I decided to add fiber to mop up those nagging fat blobs in my blood stream and it seams to have worked, my readings went from 240ish a few years ago to 220isn and more recently 205ish. Interestingly I have also noticed that your exit system is super happy and consistent. To put is subtly I virtually don't need TP anymore... My theory is that the fat molecules or the greasy stuff is mopped up and bonded to the waste and wow! your clean and clear.

Friends of mine from India and Pakistan introduced Psyllium Husk to me many years ago when I was very ill. The way that many locals take it from that region of the world is to simply put a flat teaspoon full directly in your mouth and chase it down with water, then rinse mouth again with water and done... This is how I take mine twice daily either 30 min before or after a meal. That's it.. The husk has no time to gel-up before it's down the hatch and it’s tasteless. Easy-Peasy..... Trying to mix it with anything is just icky so save yourself the trouble and try to take it this way. I like the Marhaba Ispaghol (Three Rivers) brand the very best, but can't fine it here on Amazon (available in two sizes at: KhanaPakana) just do a search. The container alone is worth it. Friends of mine at work would bring it to me from Pakistan when we would meet at our international work location. The containers are very durable and light weight; perfect if you travel a lot... I kept the small 6oz Marhaba container for travel and order the Organic India brand to refill it if the other place is out of stock. I keep it in my pack and it goes with me no matter where in the word I travel to.. I travel internationally more than 6 months per year so this method works perfectly when I am on the go in an airport, hotel room, train or plane and you can take it discretely this way with a little bottled water. Psyllium Husk has been a life changer and I will never stop taking it as long as I am alive on this earth. Hope that this helps those of you struggling to take this product or any other husk brand for that matter or travel alot.. Perfect for RVers too. .

I have used Viva Naturals, Healthworks, and this brand.... Viva naturals comes in first with a close 2nd for healthworks... Organic india doesn't even place for me, it is unusable!

The way I use Psyllium husk is to blend it with water for a couple of seconds and chug it. If you don't chug it quick, it turns into thick gelatinous goop. This goop is what goes through your digestion system and cleans you out! Both the brands I previously mentioned worked great for that. Viva naturals just had a better taste (they all taste bad)..

Now for my actual review on this product... It doesn't mix, at all, it doesn't gel up, at all... I am not sure what you are supposed to use it for, but if you can get it down, I really doubt it would help with digestion. After blending it over and over, it was still instantly separate from the water...

This stuff is the best! I used to have a BM maybe twice a week. I was always bloated and looked prego. The worst!! I take one tablespoon mixed in water ever morning. I put it on a half full bottle of water, put the cap on and shake it up, then drink it quickly. The texture takes some getting used to but it’s worth it. I am happy to say I am having a BM daily, sometimes twice a day. My stomach is flat and no more bloating. I will definitely continue to purchase!
