Truth in advertising: Tender & Juicy. Worth every penny and then some. Packed in 5 separate "portion packs" each one contains about 6 figs. The expiration date of an order received May 2019 was May 2020. Ingredients? Organic dried figs and water.
The product is the best I've tasted after sampling from 2 local co-ops that provide bulk dried fruits. They are not "too sweet" and hit just the right spot for a guilt free snack with only 120 calories per pack-one 50 gram pouch. If you liked fig cookies as a kid, try these for a nice 31 gram carb snack. No gluten needed.

The figs that we’re delivered were not the tender and juicy figs as advertised on the package. The item we got was organic sundries figs only no where on package did it say tender and juicy. Would like to return for correct package but says no return when I tried to send them back

I used to buy them at my local Amish Market - the bag with individual packs. They sold them for almost 10 dollars.
When I got 2 of these 40oz bags from Amazon for way less....I was surprised because I had no idea of the quantity that 40oz yeld....I mean LOTS of figs.
And they are super tender and moist.....the "slime" some reviewer said is the figs natural sugar. If you are looking for DRY & hard type of figs like you are used to see at the stores....these are not for you.
But if you are looking for delicious, tender, easy to chew figs....YES! these are the best.
I use on my smoothies instead of medjool dates....and I give them as snacks to my dogs too.
I removed them from the bag and keeping in a air tight glade container to preserve their juiciness. I really dislike when they are hard and dry.
