The Advantages of Organ(y)c Brand
100% Pure Cotton
Feel secure knowing Organ(y)c brand applicator tampons are made with 100% pure cotton for maximum sensitivity, maximum absorption, and maximum health benefits.
You may be surprised to discover that most other nationally-advertised brands of tampons are made of synthetics, like rayon and cellulose (wood pulp). These other tampon brands typically then bleach their synthetic materials in chlorine to make them white.
We are proud to say that Organ(y)c does not use chlorine but instead we use peroxide, a naturally occurring disinfectant. It is through the use of 100% organic cotton and peroxide that we are proud to say our product is gentle and sensitive on your skin and safe for individuals with 'sensitive skin'.
Ease of Use
A well designed biodegradable, recycled cardboard applicator with a rounded tip make for easier insertion and more comfort during insertion.
A sewn extractor cord makes for easy extraction and maximum security.
At Organ(y)c we pride ourselves on a deep commitment to 'green'. With the use of biodegradable and recycled cardboard for the box and applicator, biodegradable paper for the individually wrapped tampons, and no use of perfume or plastic we do everything we can to be environmentally conscious.
The Advantages of Cotton
Cotton is nature's most absorbent natural textile, holding as much as 24 times it's weight in liquid. You can feel secure that it will protect against leaks. Rather than itchy synthetic materials, cotton created the standard for softness and set the bar for other fabrics. Synthetics can make you sweat, cotton is breathable. It is not man-made or created in a test tube and it is certainly not any kind of plastic. Cotton is nature's gift.
Not Just Organic, Certified Organic
There is no specific organic standard for feminine care, so, Organ(y)c has been assimilated into the organic textile products category. Organ(y)c products have been certified by the Soil Association, the UK's leading organic organization, promoting sustainable food and farming through local, seasonal and organic systems. Organ(y)c is also certified by the ICEA, Italy, the Ethical and Environmental Certification Institute, which inspects and certifies firms respectful of the environment, workers' dignity and collective rights.
The bottom line is that Organ(y)c strives to manufacturer the best products possible for both your body and mother nature.
The Right Choice for Sensitive Skin
An estimated 60% of women believe they suffer from sensitive skin and many do indeed experience itching and irritation. Fortunately, recent clinical studies involving gynecologists and patients have shown cotton feminine care solves skin irritations with a 90% success rate in the first month of use. Cotton is soft, gentle and naturally breathable. Skin does not react with cotton which is why Organ(y)c is hypoallergenic and cotton products are prescribed for patients with allergies by many specialists.
A Full Line of Organic Feminine Care
You should know that Organ(y)c is the only brand in which everything (applicator tampons, digital tampons, pads and panty liners) are part of a full line of organic feminine care. So, whichever Organ(y)c product you buy, you can be sure you will always get 100% pure, organic cotton.

I've used two so far and I love them. I don't know why people say they hurt, don't work, etc. I've tried the cardboard applicator tampons from the store and those ones always hurt but these ones were as smooth as plastic. The cardboard moved easily and if you have trouble with it I suggest twisting it or the tampon. The first time I used one I pushed the tampon out a little bit before use since everyone said the tips hurt. The second time I forgot to push the tampon out and it worked any way. As for absorbency I find them to be the same as the store bought regulars just healthier for you! I find them real easy to use but if you have a hard time with inserting try lubricating the tampons with a little olive oil or coconut oil (natural lube). I tried a Lady Cup to save money but ended up hating it since the stem is too short and you have to give birth to it to get it out (plus really messes and involves lots of cursing).
I have had zero problems with the applicator function, or anything else. They are much higher quality cotton (and finish quality in general) than the 7th generation or other organics that I have tried. I will not be buying any other brand from now on as long as they continue making these as is.
Getting these in though takes work. And two hands. And time. I'm used to the plastic tampax applicators that just slide right in. These cardboard applicators do not slide against each other at all. You almost have to prep it by loosening the cardboard by twisting it around and pushing it up a bit. Then I've found wrapping a dry piece of toilet paper around where you would hold it gives it traction for you to push the tampon in. And it's pretty much every time, it's not a fluke thing. They take some getting used to but I'm going to stick with them because I know they're better for me.
