Got introduced to Oribe @ Barry’s, and I figured I’d give it a try. The scent is delightful, but I don’t notice any difference between my hair using Oribe vs my long-time staple (Philip Pelusi P2 Roots for Men). The P2 ingredients appear to be superior & it’s cheaper, but it just has a neutrally pleasant scent.

If you’re big on scent and want a nice wake-me-up or post-gym refresh and don’t mind the cost… go for it!

5 years ago I found an 8oz bottle for $38 on clearance at TJMaxx. I have 16” naturally blond, thick, straight hair, that gets full wash 3x week, the other days put in bun and wash front scalp only.
I use half as much Orbie as it is thick, clings to my hair, doesn’t drip off and creates a luxurious lather. The scent is pleasant, not intense, does not linger when my hair dries. No more fruit salad smelly hair!
Yes, it’s pricey, even if 1 bottle Orbie = 5 bottles most shampoo’s, its more then most, I’m worth it, so are you.

I have always wanted to try this brand but the price kept me away. Finally I decided to take the plunge. I also bought the corresponding conditioner. The shampoo does come in a smaller bottle. It has a flip cap. I used only a small amount which was plenty. It lathers up great and smells terrific. A perfume smell but it's not overwhelming or strong. I followed with the conditioner. When I dried my hair I was in awe. I have straight, flat, thin hair. This shampoo, in just the first time I used it, did wonders for my hair. It was shiny, had life to it, was soft. But even though it was soft, I was able to curl it with a curling iron and it stayed. The scent stayed with me most of the day. I think the scent smells expensive too!!!! I think the bottle will last quite awhile since you only have to use a small amount. I do have short hair. I know this is a lot of money to spend on shampoo, but the way my hair has changed for the better, it was easy to fix, saved me time and smells so good, to me it's worth it. I will definitely buy this shampoo again. No question about it. I'd rather spend money on a product I know is great than keep trying different cheaper products and find they don't work. And that adds up in cost also. This is the shampoo and brand for me for now on!!!!!!!

This product does absolutely nothing for my hair. Flat near the root and frizzy on the bottom. I bought the conditioner too. Curling or hair doesn’t help give it any structure either. This stuff does nothing more than a “decent” bottle of shampoo and conditioner that uncanny buy the drug store. I was expecting a miracle worker for the price.
