Mindy is convinced she knows about shifters, and understands them. Ethan is convinced once he tells Mindy shifters exist, and they are fated mates the hard part will be over. One of them stubbornly holds on to their beliefs, but is either of them right?
This short story covers trust, emotional baggage, the joys of debt in the modern world, and life in a small town... and the pages just keep turning until finally a seemingly simple situation has managed to cover more territory than I expected.
Mindy knows all about shifters and mating so Ethan being a bear is no problem, she just wants no part or believe in mating. She has other problems to worry about so it may not make a difference.
For a short book it sure was heavy on the sex. I would have liked a little more conflict. It still was a good little sexy read.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed Ethan and Mindy's story. Ethan figures out Mindy is his mate, but doesn't know how to tell her he's a bear shifter, but what he doesn't know is that she already knows he is a shifter....just doesn't know what kind. Mindy has her doubts about shifters and there so called "mates." Mindy also has a secret old her own about her past and how it is affecting her now. I really enjoyed this story, but felt I wanted a little bit more. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
