The OTC 1504A is a 3 ton service jack with a lifting range of 5-3/8" to 19-7/8". It is designed for the budget-minded shop owner, who still wants the quality of an OTC product. Built from select steel, this jack can stand up to the abuse that jacks are subjected to daily. Its light, compact design makes it easy and convenient to use. Great Deal for the Money

I purchased this jack because my previous 2 ton jack began leaking again. I was determined to purchase a good solid 3 ton jack that would accomodate our 2007 CRV. I researched all over the Internet for a quality product prior to purchasing this unit. I was considering a 3 ton floor jack from Harbor Freight but the thought of trying to find parts over time just didn't excite me very much. I read about OTC and how they also build US Made jacks here under Hein-Warner so I figured I would go with OTC since they have manufacturing presence in our country and parts appear to be readily available.

I received the jack last week. This thing is a beast and I couldn't believe that it came with free shipping to top it off! The unit came perfectly intact in its shipping container and it works just great. The money I saved by purchasing it from Amazon was amazing to say the least. Other places on the Internet wanted $250 or more. Again this was great bargain in my opinion

Wanted something to work on my lowly Toyota and my Jeep Wrangler. This is just low enough for the Toyota and raises high enough for the Jeep. It's VERY heavy and appears to be a quality product. It lifts both cars easily.

Lowering the cars is a piece of cake. Just turn the handle. Practice a few times since if you do it too quick, your car will drop like a rock. I'm use to the sensitivity and I'm able to lower the car very slowly.

I've only used it about 10 times, but it looks and feels like something you would see in a professional garage. Check the specs before you buy. It's very large and very heavy. I wouldn't buy it if you want to hang it on the wall when not in use. I felt sorry for the UPS deliveryman, having to carry it.

My OTC Stinger arrived today and I'm thrilled with how easy it was to set up, how well it worked and how well it was built! This jack is built like a tank, but it glides easily on my garage floor and is easy to move about. I invested much time searching for and researching floor jacks before I bought the OTC Stinger 1504A. In the end, WEIGHT, WARRANTY, QUALITY BUILD, MAX HEIGHT, MIN HEIGHT, SUPPORT and PRICE were my most important criteria and the OTC was tops in every category. Of the 3 similar jacks I considered, NAPA's was the heaviest and highest priced while Powerzone 380044 was the lightest and mid-priced. This OTC was the best jack at a deal price and best of all a 2 yr. warranty from OTC. A bonus surprise was an authorized service center right here in Honolulu:))

I rotate tires myself on two Tacoma trucks and one Hyundai Sonata, so I needed to replace my 3 ton jack that just died. Experience taught me that a beefy jack is more stable when lifting hefty vehicles high off the ground. My trucks sit high off the ground, so the OTC's 20 1/4" extension height was perfect. Fully lowered, this jack's lift saddle is 5 1/2" from top-to-ground, just right for getting under the very low Sonata. I also like that the saddle's diameter is 5 1/8"-- bigger than typical 2-3 ton jacks.

Yup, I tested the jack on the Tacoma and Sonata and it performed beautifully. No problem lifting and lowering. Lowering was done relatively smoothly in small increments -- NICE. The jack JUST fit under the Sonata with only 1/2" height to spare, so I guess a jack that was another inch lower would be nicer. I love the spring assisted handle mechanism, it keeps the handle at whatever upright angle I happen to leave it at. The all metal wheels are nice. The front wheels are large and feel solid rolling around.

Box contents: Jack, handle & screws, spare O-ring & Back-up ring, parts list & operating instruction, 2 yr. warranty statement, authorized service center list (U.S & overseas). It's made in China for OTC.

I'm very relieved and ecstatic with this purchase and with Amazon:))

Great jack for Chevy Tahoe

This thing is a beast. I was not expecting this size and weight, and am happily surprised. I use this on my Chevy Tahoe and VW Jetta for regular servicing. I do not use this every day, but only a day a month or so. I had been borrowing a friend's cheap 3 ton jack before I bought this and am familiar with them. This is no cheap 3 ton jack. It sits low enough to get under the Jetta, yet has enough muscle to lift the Tahoe without a lot of exertion. No complaints at all.

I purchased this jack over the cheaper jacks as I have seen examples of cracked jacks and broken mechanisms.

It did arrive in a damaged box, with some part showing out of the box, this should be addressed by OTC as I found some smaller plastic bits crushed.

Aside from that it is a sturdy jack, a little tricky to release slowly, but once you get a hang of it you should be ok. Construction looks good and it has no problem lifting a Wrangler JK.

As the title say, I love this jack. I use it to perform repairs to vehicles in my garage. The heaviest Vehicle I have used it on so far was a Cadillac Escalade. It lifted the SUV with ease. It is constucted very well and looks impressive. It moves across the floor with ease, but is very still when you operate it.
