Product Description

The OB-ANK Ankle Holsters series is unlike any other ankle holster. Made in Southern California from premium nylon materials, the Outbags Ankle Holsters brings you a durable kit at a reasonable price. The OB-ANK is set apart from other substandard ankle holsters by its neoprene ankle brace. Other ankle holsters are made with elastic materials which can stretch over time. This stretching will critically affect the ankle holster's hold. The Outbags neoprene brace will never stretch and will always provide a secured fit. Firearm not included. Recommended fit: Beretta 9000S, Beretta Nano, Beretta PX4 Storm Sub Compact, Bersa BP9CC / BP40CC, Bul M5 Ultra-X, Cobra FS32 / FS380, Colt Defender 90 Series 45 ACP, CZ-U CZ2075, Diamondback DP9, Glock 23 Compact / 26 / 27 / 29 / 30 / 40, H&K P7, Hi-Point C9, Kahr CW9 / CW40 / CW45, Kahr K9 / K40 / P9, Kahr MK9 Elite Kel Tec PF9 / P11 with Crimson Trace, Mauser M2, Para Stealth, Para Warthog, Ruger LC9 / SR22 with Crimson Trace, Ruger SR9C / SR40C, S&W 469 / 669 / 6904 / 6906 / 6946, S&W Chiefs Special 9mm, S&W M&P Compact 9C / 40C /45C, Sig Sauer P224 / P239, Sig Sauer P250 Sub Compact, Springfield Armory XDs 45 ACP, Springfield XD 3" Sub Compact, Taurus Millennium PT58 / PT132 / PT138 / PT140 / PT145 / PT609 / PT638 / PT709 Slim / PT740 / PT745, Walther P22 / P99 Compact / PPS,

Hand Orientation: 1. Right Hand Draw Verified Purchase
I used this with my wife's Walther P22.
Fail #1.
I am Right handed, so I opted for an inside Left leg draw. I wore it around the house for less than 30 minutes before abandoning it due to the amount of discomfort with it wiggling on each step. After switching to Right leg / outside draw, there was a noticeable improvement in comfort. I decided to test it for a few hours running errands. It was barely acceptable after an hour. It still has a wiggle and rubs me the wrong way. Going back to my Comp-Tac MTAC: that is the Gold Standard for concealment.

Fail #2.
Thank God I did not need it in an emergency situation. The Velcro strap that secures the gun to the holster is excessively long. As a practice draw (which every conceal carry'er should do) it completely sacrifices any chance of quick reaction / smooth draw to save your life, not to mention noisy if you needed to draw discreetly. Needs to be a snap!

Pro's:
The Gun fit great in the holster.
Enough material to fit around most to all ankles.

Cons:
Super uncomfortable when you walk, it wiggles with every step no matter how tight I pulled it.
When pulled tight, the excess Velcro strap goes past the gun and makes your pants sit obviously funny. (see photo)
If you have or think you have thin ankles, do not purchase.
The Velcro retention strap was in my opinion to long, to the point of detrimentally obstructing your draw, especially in an emergency.

This is a great holster. I actually don't have any complaints about the actual holster. I would suggest to strongly consider having a holster that has a support strap though. Difficult to keep this style of holster in place with the heavier guns, but I knew that ordering this so I can't rate it down for that. Good quality holster so far, 6 months in.

This is my first ankle holster so I don't have much to compare it to. I thinks it works pretty well depending on your shoes. If you have a low cut shoe this will ride down and sit right on your ankle.

Plus side: very comfortable fit. After several hours with a Colt Mustang .380 in it on my right ankle, I was no longer sure that I had it on. Downside: a gun heavier than the Mustang (22 ozs.) would slide it down until it might be exposed. I would suggest wearing high top shoes to prevent this from being a problem. Downside: while a Firestar 9mm fit into the holster, the inability to move the holster's position relative to the ankle made it unconcealable. For a small and light gun, or if wearing high tops or boots, this works well, and very reasonably priced (especially for something American made).

I questioned that this would fit comfortably and actaully hold my gun in place. This ankle holster surpassed all expectations. It fits my Beretta Nano perfectly and the holster stays put on my ankle. It feels great when wearing a high boot but if you dont i suggest wearing high socks. If you have the holster on bare skin you tend to sweat a lot more. Or maybe you just feel it more. Either way its more comfortabe when the holster is against fabric. I still use the same ankle holster to this day. Im sure there are better ones out there but this one does the job just fine.

Bought this for a taurus slim 9mm. Fits perfect. Holds gun tight against my ankle without strapping tightly. After a few days of getting used to it, I now hardly know it's there. I do wish it had a snap instead of a Velcro strap. Other than that it functions very well! Would definately buy again.

Love this product. It's a little big for my small 380 and could be used for larger caliber pistols. Neoprene fabric is very comfortable against leg and within minutes completely "goes away". You don't know it's there. Velcro fastening makes for quick on and off.

This was rated for a Glock 30. There is no way the Glock 30 fits in this ank,e holster, the pistol is too heavy for this product. It may be great for a smaller pistol but the company should not advertize that the heavier pistols work in this carrier. Do not buy this product if you have a heavy sub compact pistol.
