The only downside is that it's hard (and dangerous) to try to get a ton of usage out of smaller veggies if you're holding the veg in your hand while peeling. Especially when getting to the end of the stroke, you have to try to pull downwards and with force towards your hand or else you'll get strips stuck together on the edge.

This peeler has become my go-to tool for adding julienned vegetables to salads, pad Thai noodle dishes, and spring rolls. It glides smoothly across cucumbers, zucchinis, and even crunchy carrots. Clean up is a breeze, unlike having to clean the many parts of a food processor. Not only is this peeler lightweight, but the rubbery surface provides a comfortable, firm grip.
*** Here's a HACK for julienning entire carrots:
It can be a little tricky using every last bit of carrot after most of it has been whittled down to just a nub. To save my fingers, I use a fork to pierce the thick end of the carrot to hold it firmly in place while I peel the rest. This should be done on a chopping board and not on a wobbly plate. May the fork be with you for safe peeling!
I wish that the plastic safety cover would stay in place better. It flips on/off far too easy to be functional. Occasionally, the blades get clogged with bits of carrot but are easy to clear out.
