OXO’s quality and design shine. My older OXO peeler is still going strong (love OXO durability) but you can never have enough back-ups for group participation - OXO Good Grips Peeler Set. The swivel (basic potato) peeler in this set keeps a design very similar to my current model although the handle is a bit thinner and longer, the blade is longer, and the blade protector is elongated not curved (see pics). All good tweaks for the better. A Julienne peeler is included too. OXO is one of my go-to brands. I expect this set to be in my gadget drawer for years.

    The peeler takes off a thinner peel, which I LOVE! I hate throwing away perfectly good carrot & potato. It peels through cleanly, not getting caught up on bumps, etc. The Julianne tool works great too. (Very surprised at that!) I've only used it on carrots but it was great. I held the fat end, leave it untrimmed for a better grip, and rested the carrot on my board and pulled the tool through the carrots about halfway up, turning the carrot as I went. Then I moved up closer to the end and did the same. Gets harder to hold as the carrot gets smaller so there's a little waste, but I got a lot of Julianne carrots for stir-fry.
    Do hold on to the protective guard for the Julianne tool. It's sharp.
