THis is a fantastic fish turner, and I have tried several. I am a professional chef and this turner is wide which is great for larger cuts of fish. I use this on saute pans and also to turn the fish on a grill. It is flexible enough to bend, but is by far not flimsy. Great choice!

There's a lot to like about this spatula--it's sharp, flexible, and just the right size, but the grip is not even slightly heat resistant. The first time you turn your back and leave it in the pan you'll melt the grip. As I multi-task in the kitchen, I often leave my spatula in the pan and so this otherwise great spatula now custom fits my hand. I'm going to replace it with something that has a composite handle it may not be as cushy in my hand, but I won't have the melted plastic attaching itself to the sides of my pan or molding itself to fit my hand. Just leaning the spatula against the pan with the handle touching the stove will make the handle soften and loosen on the handle.
Edit:
I've since bought the MIU spatula which is also sold on Amazon and its handle can take the heat and it's built better as well (solid piece of metal rather than the blade being spot welded to the handle) MIU Slotted Stainless Steel Flexible Turner, unfortunately it's about 2" shorter and I prefer the size of the Oxo. To the commenter who face-palms himself on a common way to use a kitchen tool, I've got dozens of other kitchen tools and this is the only one where the handle melts if you lean it against a pan or leave it in the pan as you attend to other chores. If you've got a place to the side of your stove to lay down your spatula and you'll never forget and leave it in the pan for even a few seconds or lean it against the pan then you won't need to worry about melting the handle and you should purchase and enjoy the spatula. On the other hand, if you expect more from your kitchen tools, you should look at something that is better designed to withstand normal kitchen use.

I've always had trouble turning over fish such as cod, flounder, and halibut when sautéing, broiling, or on the grill. This OXO fish turner goes a long way in solving the problem of the fish breaking up into little pieces when turning. I've also used this for pancakes with great success. It is very flexible, cleans up easily and a big improvement over other spatulas I've used. As with other OXO products I have, this is a great addition to my kitchen tool collection.

This utensil is great not just for turning fish or chops, but also for sauteing vegetables. A lot of time I want my sauce to be thicker but not overcook the veggies. Using this utensil, I can left the veggies out without the sauce and put them in a dish, thus enabling me to reduce the liquid without overcooking. I then add the finished sauce over the dish. Great item to have in the kitchen!

I admit it - I purchased a fish spatula based off of a recommendation from Buzzfeed Tasty. It was listed on the 16 Truly Useful Tools AND the 10 Most Useful Items to Have In the Kitchen Under $25, and of the many tools listed, I noticed this was one tool I didn't actually own. "A fish spatula for crispy fish AND transferring warm cookies without casualties." Besides, in all those silly Tasty videos, the user is using a fish spatula to saute items...for the price, I might as well give it a go. After using the spatula, I'm kinda surprised I didn't buy one earlier!

The OXO Good Grips fish spatula works great for flipping over fillets of fish, burgers, pancakes, eggs...the tip of the spatula is thin enough to get under those items easily and wide enough to hold the item effectively. The blade doesn't scratch my pans, doesn't get scratched by my cast iron pans, and is long enough so that I don't need to worry about getting burned when flipping items. The handle is plastic and can get melted/soften if left in your pan, but because I don't leave my utensils in the pan, I didn't have any issues with that. If you do leave utensils in your pans, this can stand being left on the edge for a short while, but I wouldn't recommend leaving it for extended periods of time.

Overall, this is one of those kitchen items that I didn't know I needed until I actually started using it. I ended up tossing my older silicone OXO spatula which was starting to peel at the blade end, and haven't looked back.

Structurally, this is exactly what I was looking for. However, I was surprised when it arrived-the appearance was substandard. The handle (front and back) looked like it had been damaged or was a "factory second" quality product. The front had a terribly difficult sticker (1" x 2") to remove. The back of the spatula blade was dis-colored. It does not appear any damage happened during transportation or delivery. I don't anticipate concerns with performance of this item.

Cook's Illustrated in their review said that this was laughably too big and they recommended the Wusthof Gourmet spatula. Well, I can't comment on the Wusthof one b/c I've been quite happy with this one and don't feel the need that I need to look further (and spend 3 times as much). I've turned salmon fillets in 8 inch frying pans and didn't feel the size of this spatula was cumbersome...
