Broke in half, cut arm open.

These pans are incredibly poor quality, and therefore extremely dangerous. I have never exposed them to any swift temperature changes, moisture while hot, or placement directly on the countertop while hot. Apparently these precautions weren't sufficient however, because yesterday when I picked up the pan to put it away after it had been hand washed and dried, it cracked in half and sliced my arm open. This is no exaggeration, the cut warranted a trip to the ER and 9 stitches. You will save money in the long run by purchasing a higher quality pan, and therefore avoiding a trip to the emergency room. Buyer beware.

Not reliable, breaks after only a couple of months of light use

Product broke after only 2 months of light to average use. When the product broke, it left an extremely sharp edge that would be dangerous if someone was holding it while it broke. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed in the product and will not be buying it again.

We had this for maybe two weeks or so. One day it just split in two while washing for no reason that we could tell. There wasn't a huge temperature change or anything. One minute it was in one piece and the next it was split down the middle. I have a lot of other borosilicate glass cookware, but this is the first time that something like this has happened.

Shattered out of nowhere! Be careful

We got this for our wedding and loved it. We use it very often. Unfortunately, about a year after the wedding, the glass shattered in my hand and caused a severe injury.m. I had taken it out of the cabinet and was about to use it for dinner, so no weird temperature changes and I didn’t drop it or anything like that. We trust the Oxo brand, so I we actually bought another and are hoping this was just a fluke. Do be careful with it, though! If this one breaks on us too, we will know it’s just poor craftsmanship :(

I was so excited to have found this product until I received it. I should start by saying the product was not defective but there is an issue with the design if you ask me. I purchased it because I wanted to have a way to store my pies and quiches in the fridge. I was thinking this would have been like a Tupperware type thing but it wasn't. The lid has 4 large vent holes on the top. Its almost like a microwave plate cover. That's great if they wanted to vent the lid just in case you wanted to re-warm your quiches etc but have something that could twist over the holes in order to keep it all covered so you could store it in the fridge to keep foods fresh without letting air in. I wish I had known about the vents I would have never wasted my time or $$$ just to be let down. Sorry OXO

I was reading the one star reviews and nearly shat myself because I didn't bother to read them before I ordered the glass. The glass just went through 400 degrees temperature for about 35 mins and did not break. I was anxiously awaiting for the glass to explode inside of my oven and even anticipated being admonished by others whom I shared the kitchen with. I'll have you know that my glassware is completely in tact, I used a baking sheet on top of the glass and successfully baked some chicken. I don't know what these one-star reviewers were up to, but just because this type of glass could withstand high heat, doesn't mean it isn't glass. Handle with care, I guess?

Perfect for bread baking

I’ve baked two loves of bread in this and am very happy with the results. I baked them at 450 and both loaves slipped out as if they were butter. My previous metal pans had a lot of west and I struggled every time I baked something.

I also really like the lid. This way I can proof without using a disposable plastic bag or store leftovers easy assuming your loaf doesn’t go too high.

Parfait pour la cuisson au four. Je vous recommande toute la gamme des plats en verre de rangement d'Oxo. Ils sont bien conçus le couvercle ferme très bien et il est très utile pour le rangement au frigo tout en étant écologique puisqu'on a pas besoin d'y ajouter une pellicule de plastique sur le plat. Quoiqu'un peu plus cher à l'achat, mais cela en vaut la peine.

I bought this product and used it at Christmas for a casserole. Be advised that if you remove it from the oven and you are using oven mitts, the handles are very small and there is not much surface area to grip, making it somewhat dangerous to use.

This is a good product at a good price. I am very comfortable using this product for a freezer-to-oven meal—much more than I would be using a Pyrex or Anchor dish. I also like how the plastic lid snaps on tightly, which protects your food from freezer burn much better than plastic wrap or tin foil.

On one of the two baking dishes I ordered, however, the lid did not snap on properly. But Amazon was quick to send a replacement—great customer service.
