Top customer reviews
The handle is comfortable in my hand. The blades are sharp in both directions, so that whether you peel away or towards yourself, you're in good shape. The actual blade thing swivels just enough that it will conform to the thing you're peeling, but not so much as to feel loose in your hand.
Mind you, I like this particular shape of peeler much more than the Y-shaped peeler, so I am a bit biased in this direction. AND, the blade can be replaced. Oxo Good Grips i-Series Peeler Blade Replacement Cartridge. If you want to spend less than what they're charging here on Amazon, it's $5 from Oxo's website.
The shape of the head is a little different, but still works just as well.
A note, though, don't put these through the dishwasher, as it will dissolve the glue that holds the rubber to the handle, and the rubber will just slide on and off freely. (That's what happened with my old one.) Not a huge deal, and I kept using it for years that way, but kind of a pain.
