The OXO Good Grips Wooden Reamer efficiently juices lemons, limes and other citrus fruits. The pointed tip and sharp edges make it easier to begin and continue the juicing process. The Reamer is made of solid beech wood, which does not react with acidic fruits, making the product more durable. We do not recommend washing your wooden tools in the dishwasher.

The particular shape of this cone is effective, handle easy to grasp, sharp point to dig into the lemon/lime, and nice deep troughs. But, BEST of all, the wooden edges are sharp and seem like they'll stay that way for a long time.
To get the most juice out of a reluctant lime or lemon, I still rely on something else before reaming: Stab a couple of tiny holes in the rind (so the fruit won't explode); stick it in the micro for a minutes or less, and then roll it hard back and forth on the counter to break up the tissues inside. The good old dinner fork still works well in a pinch!
What a shocker when I recieved it. Not only was the handle short for a child, but the wood was ruff, and lightweight
Like balsa wood that I can remember as a child.
I was going to return this spoon to Amazon I was so disapointed, but the 5 yo saw it and thought it was for him. got bored with it And I just took it back, sanded it smooth , and have been oiling it with Howards , the spoon doesn’t seem as porous but
I would Never buy OXO again.
Although I use to buy there brand, it’s obviously has gone down in workmanship.
I have also noticed that when I was in Bed bath & beyond two weeks ago.
I would never put wooden utensils in my dishwasher, or knifes , and my cookware...
I have slim hands, and long fingers, so It fit, but the quality is not there.
That said, I have bought other inexpensive wooden spoons that are far better and have lasted me for years, and other OXO, but no more.

Even if this is atypical of the entire product line of wooden spoons, it does demonstrate poor quality control. If you do decide to pick one of these up, I recommend using it immediately so that if there are issues, you find out before its too late.
Excellente pour GN, mais je ne mangeais pas avec tous les jours.
