The OXO Tot Sippy Cup with Handles offers a fun and mess-free way of helping toddlers transition from using bottles to big-kid cups. Designed for children six months and older, the brightly colored, 7-ounce cup features large handles that are angled so your little one doesn't have to turn his wrists too far and non-slip grips along the sides for easy handling. Once your toddler has mastered how to grip firmly, simply remove the handles to turn the cup into a regular Sippy Cup.
Lid Features Drinking Comfort and Liquid Containment
The lid screws on tightly to keep drinks inside while still making it easy to drink from, and transparent walls help you know just how much liquid is left. In addition, a dimple in the lid makes room for little noses, and a leak-proof valve releases pressure so your child can sip comfortably. The valve is removable for easy cleaning.
The Tot 7-ounce Sippy Cup with Handles is also available without handles in a 7-ounce and 11-ounce size. All are part of the OXO Tot Feeding Line that also includes Straw Cups and Training Cups. All OXO Tot Sippy, Straw, and Training Cup lids are interchangeable.
Safe and Convenient
The OXO Tot line of cups is BPA-, phthalate-, and PVC-free, so you'll have one less thing to worry about. And all are top-rack dishwasher safe for added convenience.

I also liked the easy grip sides on the cup for untwisting the lid and holding onto it to pour liquids in. This cup is perfect for a baby just learning how to use a sippy and even transitions as the child gets older as the handles can be taken off and the leakproof valve in the lid can be removed also.
A nice durable product that I would definitely use as a baby shower gift for any expectant mom.
The construction is quite good: handles are ergonomic, side has anti-slip grips, drinking spout is not too hard or pointy. My baby started using this cup at six months, and really loves it. I thought it was perhaps just her love of water, but after trying a couple of other sippy cups, I see that this one is her favourite for some reason as she hasn't taken to others as quickly. It was a bit heavy and wide for her to lift and only at 7.5 months has she been able to manage it on her own (although tipping it up to get at small amounts of remaining liquid is still a challenge).
The one big minus of this cup, which I recently discovered, is that the rubber stopper, which makes this a spill-proof cup will fall out after a baby bangs this cup against her high chair or any hard surface. I realized this after she was soaked on her front for no apparent reason. I then noticed that the stopper was out, and thought perhaps I didn't put it in properly after washing. I tried to be very aware of putting in in place after that, but the leaks continued to happen once in a while and the stopper coming loose was always at fault. I still think it's a pretty good cup for the reasons noted above, but my husband noted that this design flaw makes it a deal breaker for him, as he can no longer rely on it to be spill-proof. Eventually my baby will drink from this cup without the stopper, but until then, it would be nice if it was more reliable.
After nearly three months of use, I've downgraded this sippy to only two stars. Sorry OXO...I love your products (LOVE the Sprout chair still) but this sippy is no good.Read more ›
1. The actual spigot part where the liquid comes out has a rubber stopper with two positions, completely closed and then another that only lets liquid through when someone intentionally sucks through the nozzle. You can turn it upside down and it will not leak. If you do like leaks or want the liquid flow to increase you can use this thing without the rubber stopper.
2. The handles are removable. I love that.
3. There is measure in ounces and ml on the side of the cup if you are monitoring your child's fluid intake.
4. The whole thing is dishwasher safe (top rack)
5. the shape of the cup itself even without the handles attached really lends itself to small hands.
I highly recommend this sippy cup. OXO really thought of everything with this one.

Seemed like a good idea but after a couple weeks of use, the rubber stopper that makes this cup spill-proof will no longer stay in place. Read morePublished 6 days ago by Ziggityzog

The cup itself is fine, but I'm taking one star off because the mouthpiece is hard plastic and my baby doesn't like it. Is is unfair of me to fault the manufacturer for that? Read morePublished 1 month ago by foolishgrunt
