Over time they definitely got scratched to the point of inconvenience, but I have also worn them dozens of times, so I don't hold that against Oakley. If this is the look you're going for, I have nothing bad to say about them. The only reason they are not five stars for me is they aren't very versatile; you cannot wear them with nicer clothes or really any look other than "bro".
Lastly, of course they are a little pricey, but I actual think Oakley delivers on the price point, at least compared to other brands that I have worn. I will definitely buy another pair of Oakleys in the future to replace these!
The clarity is second to none. I wear shades alot while I drive and because to much sunlight gives me a headache. I promised myself that I will never lose my oaks again.. :)
They fit great, are very durable and lightweight. With a highly active lifestyle this is very important.
The only reason they did not get 5 stars is the rubber on the frames. Being someone who sweats a lot, the rubber can get kind of gross. Plus my croakies don't fit over this and I don't want to lose them when I am surfing/paddling/boating
