A temptress sent to make my life bloody miserable.
Adored by the public and used for her father’s benefit.
Every man wants her, and every woman wants to be her.
She’s good for my reputation.
That’s the only reason I agree to the little devil’s proposal.
I’m game.
Willing to play pretend to get what I want.
Until what I want is her.
Now, there are no rules.
I’ll wage a war against the world just to keep her.
Even the deadliest men have their vices, and she happens to be mine.
****Oaths and Omissions is a full-length, standalone, dark contemporary romance inspired by the Helen of Troy myth. It is NOT fantasy or a literal retelling. If you’re not a reader of the genre, this book may not be suitable for you. Reader discretion is advised.

-I hated Lenny for like 98% of the book. She was so flat and only came across as a hypocritical, petulant child who made poor choices. I couldn’t garner any sympathy for her at all, and she just exhausted me for most of the book.
-The trauma backstory was glossed over in this book, the same way it was glossed over in V&V. I feel like the story really needed that additional depth.
-The climax was also glossed over, and there was no real resolution, which bothers me.
-The horrible family trope grates on my every last nerve, so to have that be so prevalent in all 3 books in the series so far is notttt my favorite.
Overall, though, I am determined to finish this series and will be moving onto book 4 next.
The steamy scenes were 5 peppers hot, so don’t fret! I loved the pop up of other characters from the first two books too even though this is a standalone and doesn’t need to be read in order. If your a dark romance reader and loved her other books you’ll still enjoy this one too.
First, Let’s start with the ratings 📖
⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️/ 5⭐️
SPICY🌶🥵🌶🥵
I thought I really liked Vipers and Virtuosos 🥵, pssshhh the level Oaths and Omissions had me on bloody hell!! First of all Miss Primrose and Mister Wolfe were a perfect match for each OTHER!!! Where can I get me a British man like Jonas because baby 🥵🖤!!! It started out slow at first for me but then I couldn’t put it down!! In between breaks at work and classes I found myself getting more into the book till I couldn’t put it down!! I loved these two soooo much!! That sexual chemistry between them had me like ouuuui *fan myself* and just them in general!! Primrose was given Main Character and I loved it!! Jonas was a dark badass but he was a simp for Lenny and would do anything to protect and have her for himself!! I like seeing the side character from the other books relationships and relatives interact with each other.. Cant forget that Brunch Scene I’ve been wait on because 🥵💀👀!!
Sav R. Miller books are given what is needed in Dark Romance!! I can’t wait to read Arrows and Apologize which is about Jonas Brother!! I already know it’s gonna be good!! The series just keeps getting better and better!!
3 STARS
2 JALAPENO PEPPERS
I liked this book, I gave it 3 stars because I felt like it had a lot of good things that could have been developed on. I felt like somethings were slow paced and drug out, while some of the character development could have been expanded on, and really make us fall in love with Lenny and Jonas.
RUPERT CHANNING
Oh this man's voice!! 10/10 Swoon! I will be looking on audible for books he's narrated . You fall into his story and enjoy the ride.
CHARLOTTE CLAREMONT
I really enjoy this narrator. She has great pace, and she gives a lot of good emotion with her narrations.
SOME SPICY CHAPTERS
Chapter 19 Dinner Table
Chapter 23 Painting Room
Chapter 31 You've Never Ever What???
KINKS
Oral - Lingerie/panties - Quiet Public - Caught in the Act
THINGS I DIDN'T LOVE
I ended up seeing the good in this but the first 25% it was a struggle to get into it, but in this books defense I really enjoyed the book before this and it had an uphill battle to fight.
THINGS I LOVED
This book had a good storyline. There were so many things that could have went further and I guess that sounds like a negative, but this author has the base work to what readers want and I'm here for that to develop!
STEAM TO PLOT
I personally feel like this fell flat in both areas. I was disappointed .
FAVORITE QUOTE
“Perhaps we don’t know each other’s favorite songs and worst nightmares, but you can be soul mates and still not be aware of those things. Some connections are physical, love. Tangible. You know them when you feel them.”
• Fake dating trope.
• Dark romance.
• smut was great.
• Chemistry between the characters were great
Loved Jonas Wolfe so much.
Loved the relationship between him and Lenny. Loved how bad ass she was.
Jonas is the bad boy, the guy who attempted to murder Lenny’s dad several years ago and Lenny is a good girl, the apple of her daddy’s eye. But when they agree to a fake relationship, both with their own intentions, the last thing they expected was the chemistry they found.
The plot in this book is great! The spice is HOT! I read this as an ebook, but am ordering the physical copies because this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites!!
Top reviews from other countries

Orphaned at a young age, Jonas had a difficult childhood. He got involved in small crimes and later became Kal’s associate. He is now a killer for hire and had his eyes set on taking revenge against his biggest enemy Tom Primrose. When his daughter Lenny approached him with a fake relationship proposition, he agreed. To make their story believable, they moved in together and got engaged. Play pretend turned real and soon feelings started to form.
Kal will always be my number one but the wicked, dangerous and ruthless Jonas is a close second. He tried hard not to give in to his desire for his little puppet, but from the first moment they met you knew he was whipped. Seeing him go from “I don’t date” to “she is mine” made me smile and I find his possessiveness adorable. Can we also talk about his mouth? It is FILTHY. Brunch also took on a whole new meaning and 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 scene lives rent free in my head.
Lenny surprised me in the best possible way, a broken but strong heroine. Being manipulated by her parents all her life, she finally stood up for herself and took back control. I love how deviant, resilient and quirky she is. Her development is excellent, growing from a sheltered girl to a victorious woman.
Jonas and Lenny’s chemistry is amazing and I simply cannot get enough of them. Seeing Kal and Elena again made me happy and I hope to see more of Jonas and Lenny in the rest of the series.

Loved how their relationship developed and played out also love the guest appearances of the glue of the series Kal and Elena. I really liked Lenny as a character she’s sharp and creative!
Would have liked the prologue to be a little longer because I like to see what they do once the main story finishes but that’s just a nitpick
