Another book that I found even more helpful is The Oboe Reed Book by Jay Light. If I lost Mr Light's book, I WOULD replace it, same title & author.

a definite no go for advanced hobby players, that hope to get some helpfull hints in shaping the reeds and therfore getting some detailled measures and technique tipps.
