From the Author
Hope you enjoy this coloring book! This is the first of at least two, this one focuses on scenes that are reflective of the ecosystem for each set of species. That means, I did my best to assemble the image to reflect what I have seen or researched for each ecology depicted, though since it is a coloring book, I had to make some simplifications. That said, as you color each image might learn a bit. The index in the back describes where you can find each scene, and what core species are in that scene. For example, I have a patch reef on pg 161 and a cleaning station on 159, both of which I saw while on a research trip to the Florida Keys, though I had to simplify the picture even when I did it for Benjamin's Coral Reefs, and again, redrew it for this book. The manatee scenes are from the Homosassa River and Crystal River in Florida. Some scenes from Hawaii (Maui), some via research from videos or textbooks and assembled using my best guess. Overall, I think it will be fun no matter how you use it.
