Amy's book shares her success story in combatting OMs and brings hope to other sufferers... a hope long denied.
Amy points out the need for migraine journals (something I have long resisted due to my busy life as a mom of 6!) She shares some self treatment ideas but also directs OM victims to search for holistic help. (I admit, I was hoping for more self treatment options as health care is far from affordable for me right now. However, I do recognize the importance of having educated players on your treatment team!)
Thank you, Amy, for putting together your story of hope for other ocular migraine sufferers like my daughter and me!

I really found it interesting and was surprised to read of a possible magnesium deficiency connection. There are times when I may think I know what has triggered my migraine whether it be ocular or full-fledge and this book has provided me with great information to see what other triggers I may have without realizing it. I recommend this book to all who suffer with migraines, it may give you more insight as to what is going on!
I bought this book because it was mentioned in the ocular migraine group on Facebook. I didn't really know what to expect, and to be honest I wasn't even aware that there were books on that topic! It turned out that this book simply changed my life. It switched my perspective from 'what medication should I use' to 'what are my triggers and can what can I do to stop them'. It took me a few days to put a journal together and now I know that my triggers are a combination of msg, dehydration and magnesium deficiency. There might be other triggers because I still have ocular migraines, but they've decreased to once a month, so I know I'm going down the right road.
