Editorial Reviews

An anthologized collection of photos taken from a Tumblr account of the same name (which is an anagram of Wolf Gang), Golf Wang captures all the facets of a collective that's intrigued a bevy of culture bloggers for more than a year. While some folks have taken it upon themselves to judge the character of Odd Future's members based on their musical catalog, Golf Wang shows a side of the group often overlooked, or often swept under the rug: That's an image of, well, kids being kids, of Tyler, Hodgy, and the rest of the crew eating food, skating, taking blurry pictures, doing what any number of teens might do while hanging out.
As Tyler says in Golf Wang's introduction, "these photos show us as who we really are, young, ignorant and having fun." Golf Wang does just that: The loose, chaotic compilation of photos is as well executed as the precise, striking imagery that represents Odd Future's music. (Leor Galil Forbes 2011-12-23)

Some of the members of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (or just good old Odd Future to most people) have been snapping every moment they've found worth capturing for the past year or so. If you're not a regular visitor to their Golf Wang Tumblr and can't be bothered to click through it all, you'll be over the moon to hear that the highlights are being put into a book... (MILÈNE LARSSON Vice Magazine 2011-11-02)

"The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead is a magnificent novel chronicling a young slave's adventures as she makes a desperate bid for freedom in the antebellum South. See more
