‘My class very much enjoyed this picture book of Greek myths. The drawings are excellent and there’s plenty of story for the kids to enjoy and speculate on. It works as an excellent springboard for discussions on myths and legends which the children will be looking at later on in Year 4.’ Primary school teacher, aged 45
‘I loved this book the best this week. I liked the monsters. It was fun to draw them and colour them in. The story was good too.’ Boy, aged 7
‘Greek mythology is an important subject at primary school so I was happy to introduce it to my young children (5 and 7) with this picture book for the Wishing Shelf Book Awards. They liked it very much. The illustrations grabbed them and the story led to a lively discussion on whether monsters exist! Thankfully, it is not too long so we were able to finish it in one bedtime reading. I would recommend it to any parents of young children.’ Parent of Two.
‘I liked the ending. I like happy endings.’ Girl, aged 5
‘Fascinating and richly illustrated. A FINALIST and highly recommended.’ The Wishing Shelf Book Awards
