I bought this to use with my table saw. From the description, I thought this switch would allow you to step on it once to turn the power on, then step again to turn it off. This isn't quite the way it is.

To turn on, you press the pedal with your toe and to turn off, you have to press with your heel. That would probably be OK if the pedal was longer or flat, but it's much shorter than the foot and it's set at an angle. Because of that, it's easy to switch it on, but when you're trying to switch it off, your heel can get hung up on the floor. You can switch it off by pressing the rear end of the pedal with your toe, of course, but that means you have to reposition your foot while you're sawing, which is hard to do without taking your eyes off the work.

I wasn't able to find a way to use it that I felt comfortable with. I wound up buying a Delta 40-050 Lectric Air Foot Switch, which has worked out much better for me.

On / off is tricky. You have to have the right angle and pressure. It could be better
