Short of outright fraud, I don't understand how this chair can possibly have a 4-star average review score on Amazon. The build quality of this product is so atrocious that it shouldn't be given away, let alone sold. Using the included hardware, with all screws completely tightened, there is more than 3/4" of play between the two major frame pieces. This makes the whole chair unstable for a mouse to sit on, let alone me. (Note, I am below the 200 lbs weight rating, which is frighteningly low and should serve as a dire warning to any non-dwarf human being planning to sit on this chair.) Adding half of a sack of washers of the right size in the right places does help improve the stability, but it's still frighteningly unstable. Oh yes, it is black, it is adjustable, it has caster wheels, and it does have memory foam, so the description is accurate.
In all my years of purchasing things on Amazon.com, I have never felt so ripped-off. On the plus side, they did include an extra set of caster wheels, which is either a bad indicator of their quality control or a fun preview of exciting failures to come...
Lack of the support in the back forces the posture to be self supporting. I can sit with my legs tucked in below the chair or spread in front of it (see pictures). Don't think I will ever use a regular chair for computer work.
A colleague got it as well. She has bad knees and has some knee pain on using the chair (sometimes). The chair is easy to aseemble. Raising the adjustable seat height could be a pain but I haven't need to fiddle with it much. Given the lack of restraints on the back or sides, I can perform streches while sitting on it. That was a bonus! Highly recommended if you work on a computer and have lower back pain.
Assembly was a breeze and instructions were very clear. All the parts were there and for the price, the material seems sturdy enough. Some of the reviews clam the memory foam on the knee rests is not thick enough and I would agree, but it's an easy matter to take a throw pillow or some other cushion and put it under my knees. For the first week this chair definitely had that nasty plastic smell you sometimes get from cheap materials, but it didn't last.
I have noticed despite the ergonomic design I still unconsciously find ways to slouch, especially when working over a desk. Due to the lack of adjust-ability of this chair it can be quite difficult to find a position that balances my wrists at a comfortable angle above my keyboard AND doesn't tilt me too far forward. My desk is 31 inches from the ground and I am 5'5". I can't help feeling that if my desk were a little shorter or I was a few inches taller, I would benefit from this chair more than I do now.
For the price, I would definitely recommend this chair and if you've got the tools and the know-how to make some minor alterations I'm sure you'll find it to be a great alternative to a conventional seat.
If you feel like finishing the job some underage child laborer in China did not finish then boy have you found the chair for you! Tabs had to be bent into place, threads were disgustingly cut, metal shavings abundant. They have somehow developed a material less dense than particle board for the seats?? What will modern science bring us next???
@Jeff get your stuff together man, we know youre off in your own world trying to have a peeing contest with Elon, but Amazon is beyond overrated these days. Nothing but a shame.
My chiropractor did not suggest that I get this chair. I've researched desk ergonomics after moving to a home office, and was curious, but never pulled the trigger on this until I desperately needed it.
It is smaller and less sturdy than expected, for my now- 250 lb frame. The description did not note there was a weight limit, but there was a big red tag at the bottom indicating the max weight of 200 lb. I guess we will see how long it lasts.
It is minimally adjustable, and I did not have to adjust my sit/stand desk to use it.
The memory foam is moderately comfortable, but I added a Purple brand seat cushion for additional height / cooling / support. You might want to add a pillow to the leg pads, if you have sensitive shins, because that's where all your weight will go.
The important thing is that this relieved a LOT of my lower back pain while I recuperate, and I can sit in the chair for hours, and it definitely improves my posture, and helps "hold" my chiro and massage adjustments. Very glad I found it, even at a price slightly higher than the quality of the build.

The fabric is a bit scratchy on bare skin (shorts, skirt) so a cloth cover on it helps me with that.
Rolls very easily.
