All is perfect in Clay and Logan world. Things at work are great, things at home are great and the guys are better than ever... so of course, Hayden would have to mess with that. He wouldn't just leave well enough alone. Shaking up their team was one thing but putting Clay in harms was was another.
I was physically sick at what happened to him. Terrible. I didn't at all see that coming and was just... sick by the lengths these people were willing to go.
Of course, being Clay, he locked himself away inside his head to deal with it, which was the absolute wrong thing to do but I understood his need to do it. He needed Logan to bring him out of it, even if he didn't realize that's what he was doing.
I was a little disappointed that the guys didn't their karmic justice that I felt like they deserved.
I would've liked the guys to bleed a little, maybe suffer a little for what they done to Clay. It wasn't forgiveable and I hated that it kind of got swept aside like it wasn't the most awful thing you could do to a person... Why? Because it happened to a man? Had Clay been a woman, it would have been a whole lot worse and that wasn't fair.... but, whatever, at least they didn't get away with it.
I loved the ending, I loved seeing the gang back together and everybody happy and healthy and in love. It couldn't have ended on a more perfect note... I hope we continue to get more and more from this family of brothers in blue.
5 stars from me!
I am not one for spoilers but I can guarantee that Tomlinson will take you on a joyous and wonderful ride. The writing is superb and the book flows with a natural ease. Tomlinson definitely doesn't short change you in the romance department and all the while you get the feels... She will make you love to hate Logan and Clay and at the same time fall deeper in love with them. It's hard writing reviews for books you love with everything you are because no one likes spoilers and Al I want to do is gush about everything....But...I will refrain.
If you want to shed some tears, smile from ear to ear, get stars in your eyes and kinda - maybe want to throat punch a MC than this is the book for you.
If you have yet to read this series you really, really should.
If you like a great and engaging story you should read this.
If BDSM is your thing....Well...You should have already started this series.
If BDSM isn't your thing I would hope you'd give it a try as Tomlinson does a fantastic job with it.
I need this series to go on forever whether it's with new couples or a continuation of Logan and Clay for years to come. I am a fan for life. Fantastic job.
Reviewed for Two Chicks Obsessed with Books and Eye Candy.
This is a 3rd book in Christa Tomlinson "Cuffs, collars and love" series but I truly believe it can be read as a standalone. I haven't read other books and I still enjoyed this one. Surely it would be better to know the background, other couples stories and how Logan and Clay got together but even without this knowledge it is a good read.
This is a D/s story with absolutely scorching hot sex (my fav is the one after therapy - it is AMAZING), likable characters (all of them) and an interesting story-line. I liked author's writing style and the whole world created. It is all believable.
Relationship problems (and lack of them) are only a part of this book - it also shows problem of homophobia in police/SWAT and bullying.
It is an enjoyable book and I think that even ppl who are not into this kind of lifestyle would like it since there is nothing "too kinky".
