Next Generation Technology
When attempting some larger prints, even a 3-second power outage could spell disaster for a model already 10 hours or more into a longer print. The Ender 3 comes with a state of the art control board which, in the event of an unexpected power outage or surge, will remember the last recorded position of the extruder. Once power is restored, the control board will automatically restart where the print left off before the loss of power. You can sleep easy while your Ender 3 works hard.
POM Triangle-Slot Wheels
Creality changed the consumer-grade 3D printer market with the introduction of the much improved POM Triangle-Slot wheel design. Previously, printers used smooth metal rods and linear bearings which, during use, were much louder due to the metal on metal sliding. Our POM wheels are made of engineering thermoplastic which is rated as great for use in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. These wheels nearly silently guide the moving parts along the aluminum extrusion frame.
Safety Paired With Performance
The Ender 3's power supply is a high quality and safety oriented component that was hand selected for its reliability. This power supply has two safety fuses built into the unit. These internal and external fuses serve to protect all of the valuable electronics and components from any potential catastrophic power surge or electrical discharge while the machine is plugged into the outlet. The Ender 3 power supply can heat the hotbed to over 90* C in just 5 minutes or less, with a full operating range of up to 115* C which opens the door to many types of experimental or exotic filaments that may require higher temperatures for printing.
The FDM Process
Popular free to download slicing software such as Cura will divide or "slice" the 3D model into thin horizontal layers. A large multitude of previously designed 3D models are readily available on various internet websites for free. The software then creates a code that your printer can read and understand. Basically a set of instructions for the hardware in the printer. Save this "Gcode" file to a microSD card like a normal file. Many profiles are already available for use with the Ender 3 through Cura.
Upload the file to your printer via the microSD card. Ensure that the building surface or "hotbed" is level with the nozzle or "hotend" and start the print. The Ender 3 will automatically read the code in the file you selected and start extruding molten plastic filament onto the printing surface.
Watch as the printer automatically prints the layers on top of each other, one after another with incredible accuracy. The margin of error in the Ender 3 is a minuscule .1 mm in both the X and Y axis, meaning that any errors in the printing process will be almost undetectable to the naked eye.
Once the printer has finished following the instructions of the Gcode uploaded earlier, it will cease operation and your finished model will be ready to remove from the build surface. Remove the model from the hotbed and use as desired. This process is so simple, even children can be taught and understand the process and technology. Great for introducing kids to "Fun"ctional technology and processes.

If this is your first printer expect to take anywhere from 1-4 hours putting it together and getting it flat and square. This will most likely involve loosening and tightening bolts that were already put together. The printer should lay flat, and mine didn't out of the box.
You'll also need to spend some time getting the slicer settings just right. Go on thingiverse and download some test and calibration stls and work on that.
I got a glass bed right off the bat and I'm so glad I did. You can get great prints with the regular print bed, but if the base is warped at all then you'll spend a lot of time dealing with that instead of printing. After a week I have mine to about 90%. It prints great, but I'm having some extrusion problems.
Also make sure you switch the voltage to 115 if you're in North America BEFORE turning it on. It looks like it comes from the factory switched to 230 even if it comes with a US style plug. I didn't have an issue, but I've heard people who missed this step and ruined their machine.
Similarities include: frame parts and hardware (sizing differs), hot end, bowden tube, X and Y axis motor and drive belt.

*UPDATE: My hot end seems to have died after printing great for a couple days. I will be returning and re-ordering because I loved this little printer so much while it was working. Unfortunately, the hot end is permanently wired into the control box so a part swap wouldn't be easy. Re-ordering a new printer is the way to go on this one. It started as under-extrusion halfway through a print. Then I noticed the extruder gear would push filament and then snap back like there was resistance somewhere along the line. I ruled out the extruder gear by running the extruder without filament, it worked as expected. It would only do this when it tried to push filament through the nozzle. The next logical step was to clean it out in case there was a partial clog, unlikely since it was a brand new printer. All cleaned and still no luck. It actually seemed to be getting worse. The more I tried to trouble shoot, the less filament would come out of the hot end. Eventually, the hot end no longer reach a temp capable of melting the filament and I couldn't even hand feed filament through. The screen read 210c but the hot end was barely heated at all. Return processed, printer re-ordered. The assembly was a breeze and I'm sure I can get the new one printing in an hour or so now that I've gone through the assembly once already. I'll edit with another update soon...
UPDATE 2: The new printer has been running like a gem for a few weeks now. I LOVE this little thing. I won't post a long-winded update. I'll just say that returning and re-ordering through Amazon was a breeze as always and in my opinion makes it work the extra money over some other lower-priced options outside of Amazon. That's all folks! Now I need to get back to printing!
Now, about the printer. Very easy to assemble, the instructions were pretty clear. I assembled the printer to figure out how it all fit together, then I tore it apart to adjust everything and make sure it was square and level. Word of advice, double and triple check the adjustment of the V-wheels. I thought I had everything together pretty well, but I am starting to see some wear already on the wheels. This was no fault of the printer, I was eager to get some prints going and didn't check my work. The upside to this is the wheels are not expensive or hard to replace. There are many Youtube videos showing this.
Print quality: Very good, takes some adjustments in your slicing software. A lot of people are recommending Cura, but I've heard the profile is a little wrong. I am using Simplify 3D for slicing and have had very good results with the stock settings. I did tweak some settings to get some finer detail. I am still working on this though. There are a couple of upgrades I would recommend. Get different pneumatic fittings for the Bowden tube, the factory ones are a little hard to work with and if you don't get the tube seated properly you will have a jam in the hot end. I had this problem and it then caused my extruder drive wheel to plug with filament shavings. This is an easy fix though. Print a filament guide, there are a lot of models on Thingiverse for this. Lastly, it seems like the bed needs to be leveled fairly often. The recommendation here is to replace the factory leveling springs. Have ordered some and will see how that works. All in all this is a great printer and the minor modifications needed are not very expensive or complicated.
I would highly recommend this printer for anyone. This is my 3rd printer and it seems to perform almost as well as my Flashforge Creator Pro that cost a lot more. If you do purchase, make sure your are getting the official Creality Ender 3 and not one of the clones.

2 stars for quality of the components - the 2040 rails and the aluminium printer bed were dinged with scratches and lacerations. Either poor quality control - or we are getting the returned/repackaged products from other markets.
The printing surface is hard to level as it is not possible to rigidly secure it to the heated bed. Also there is a slight depression at the center so leveling the four corners doesn't imply good adhesion on at the center. I believe this is going to trouble me on larger prints - where only part of the first few layers will stick to the bed. I hope to come up with some solution for this.
The usual Ender 3 related design issues do exist but we were already aware of them before the purchase.
But when I switched it over to 230 v on the PSU ( it was stuck on 115v) the printer worked like a charm. I would like to explain how good the customer service was. I spoke to Sagar from the Banglore office and Suprim from the technical team. I was amazed by how helpful they were. Luckily all seems good and the prints are fine for now. But I'm happy with knowing these guys have such a great service team behind them.
Loose one star for not including clear instructions on which setting to use SPECIALLY WHEN THE THING WILL EXPLODE IF ITS ON WRONG SWITCH.

Regd installation we need to go by the manual as well as online videos.
We need to be careful with the pin switch that is attached with the motor when assembling (not to break it).
The printer function is accurate, It took approx 8hrs (patience required) to complete the pig 3d printing.
Test filament (white) is provided, we need to insert the filament via the clip on the motor and through the white tube (while starting for the first time) else it might get stuck. Extra filament you need to order. Test filament was not enough for this task.
All round i like the 3d printer, now need to see what are the different models we can create, just started:)
The display unit knob is broken. It skips input ( i.e sometimes turning the knob does not do anything). :(

Mas kit super completo, manual com passo a passo que dá para entender, vale a pena ver uns videos sobre impressora para aprender a gerar os arquivos e configurar certinho, mas como essa impressora é bem conhecida tem muita coisa sobre ela na internet.
Uma observação é que nas respostas diz que vem com 1kg de pla, mas na verdade vem com 200g apenas, o que não é bem um problema pois 200g dura um tempão ela não gasta quase nada)
