Amazing deal for a Perfectly Practical Protective Case

Honestly I just wanted the bag, not for portability, but to just be a place to keep the Wii U controller away from dust and to protect the touch screen.

I don't care about the rubber wrap-case, I'm not using it, I like the Wii U controller as is.

The case fits perfectly, everything feels snug and safe and it doesn't take up any ridiculous amount of room. I have it resting open unzipped with the power cable attached to charge the controller and it fits perfectly on my console shelf tucked-away but protected.

If I ever carry around the Wii U, I love that I can trust the touch-screen will be protected, and I could just throw the console and cables and games into a backpack with this case zipped-up for the controller, and it's perfect.

For 9 dollars !?!?! Why are you even still reading this!? Get it, get it now!

A must have for any Wii U owner

A really well and thought-out addition that Wii U owners should purchase. The included grip is very useful in keeping finger prints off the glossy frame. The two stylus are a great addition in the event that you manage to lose one. The included screen cleaner is beyond what I thought it would be. It has a small loop to be attached to your finger to help get the nooks and crannies cleaned as well. The carrying case is the right size as well. It seems to fit a fit a solid three games. The flap that contains the stylus has a softer, non-scratch side that covers the screen when the case is fully closed, another thing I find so endearing about it. Overall this purchase was very good. If I had to change one thing about it, I would ask that they include a screen protector to really make it the essential kit. Shipping was fast and easy as always. I recommend this to any hesitant Wii U owner and any owner that has yet to get a case/grip for their gamepad.

Feels nicely made, I just wish the rubber protective sleeve was designed to work with the charging cradle. (I have seen a few others that are made in a way to work with it). With the current design of the rubber sleeve, it is impossible to even modify it to work with the charging station. That aside, the rubber case does feel nice in the had and adds a bit of protection to the gamepad. The carry case is holding up well, the zipper hasn't broke, and it seems like it would really protect the game pad if you packed it up to take with you somewhere. For some reason they put the tags on the screen side of the protective flap in the middle, a quick trim solved that problem though. Over all i think it is a nice bundle. Not including a screen protector is a good thing i thought, allowed me to pick out what ever style I want. Would easily be a 5 star item if the rubber sleeve was designed to work with the charging stand.

I knew going into it that the sleeve would not work with the charging stand, so I did not hold it against the rating too much. Still didn't like that they made it so we can't cut it to make it fit though.

Great Essentials Kit for This Price!

Love this set!
Cons:: Case is a snug fit & presses triggers & bumpers. Can't use the charging cradle with skin on the Gamepad. This is easily remedied by simply removing the bottom half of the skin while in use. The pocket & sleeves in case are of cheap quality. They are still very much usable, but a bit difficult to get into due to lack of elastic. It doesn't come with a screen protector, but most inexpensive kits don't & they're easily found for reasonable prices.
Pros:: This clamshell case is surprisingly sturdy! I've dropped it multiple times with no damage to the Gamepad. The two extra stylus are handy for the times the original is misplaced. As far as I can tell, they're just like the original, too. The screen cleaner is truly a blessing from the gaming gods & much more convenient than the typical cloth wipe. The skin is a comfortable fit & ever so slightly transparent- just enough so that I can see the Triforce on my WindWaker gamepad through the lightly coloured areas of the silicone. It's not a hassle to put on or remove & even after a couple months, feels secure rather than loose. It IS Amiibo comparable with the NFC area exposed.
Conclusion:: DEFINITELY worth such a low price tag! All of the cons are minor inconveniences & the couple of extra features are a nice touch. It arrived quickly & packaged securely. If you're considering an inexpensive kit, this is a GREAT option.

Just got mine, & I must say, Nice! The control fits perfect in the case,like a bug in a Rug that is so comfortable it don't move.
I don't care that much for the Rubber Sleeve for 2 reasons. I have the extended play time Battery pack add on sold here at Amazon. It's a Battery Pack that is made to be mounted & locked in place on the back of the Control & will give you longer play time. The Rubber Sleeve may need to come off if you put the Control in a Charging Cradle. Having it on & trying to get the Control in the Case makes it tight to do so. The Control without the Sleeve fits in perfect, with hardly any room to spare. No movement at all. The 3 Pouch's in the top are useful. I was able to slide the extended life battery Pack into the Pouch, & it fit good & tight, & the Cover flap for the Screen covers it perfect, & also protects the pack from doing any damage to the Screen, & the Case closes fine. I'm really happy to be able to store both items in the Case. I agree, an absolute must have item for total protection for the control, for storage or on the move.

I got this because of my upcoming trip, and didn't want my Wii U GamePad to suddenly start up while I was on a flight. For this, and any travel purposes, this is a really great idea...but if your Wii U doesn't leave the house, I'd save money and buy some more games.

The package is really complete, it has spaces for plenty of games, it holds the GamePad really securely, and the 'glove' provided does add a bit of control the original is lacking. Just as a word of warning, though...the 'glove' prevents charging through the GamePad's dock (if you have the Deluxe Edition...Black) but since I recently got the USB charging cable this really isn't much of a concern. But if you're not taking the Wii U on trips, I can't really recommend buying this at all.

These are great cases. Build quality on the contents of the kit is very good and it offers excellent protection, it even comes with a form fitting gel sleeve that protects the Gamepad from scuffs and scratches while in use. The extra styluses fit the Gamepad slot perfectly, and the screen wipe is a strange square oddity that works just fine (a bit bulky for a screen wipe though).

If you plan to travel with your Wii U, then this is a great way to protect the Gamepad. If you can find a seller that lets you choose which color you are going to get, then these are highly recommended.
