1. Bought it used and couldn't redeem the one download only code. (which you can get it with other means)
2. Bought it, and cannot use it due to the Nintendo Wi-Fi shutdown a few years ago.
However, the latter can be fixed with a service called RiiConnect24. (Google it)
The sound quality is good-- there is a bit of an echo on my end but I may just have to reposition the mic. You can't adjust your tv sound once it's on or you'll ruin the entire session so make sure you have it set to a good level before starting.
The only serious draw-back is that it only works for this one game. I'd really love to have the option to use it with all Wi-Fi games so that we can talk to each other while we play. It's great for families living a long distance apart!
