This device replaces the PRIMARY zipper pull, whereas many of the other zipper pulls sold in this same section attach to the primary pull as a secondary (decorative, ease-of-use) pull. This set is for SMALLER zippers, there is another version for larger versions. If the zipper slide hole is 2mm or larger, this pull will fit.
After the zipper pull broke off my favorite hoodie, and I started searching through all of these zipper pulls -- but none of them seemed to do the trick. Most are the 'secondary pulls' made of cord. Those made of metal, i.e. primary pulls, seemed to be too large. Only a few stated the needed parameter: the size of the pass-through hole in the zipper slide.
This item also does not have information on the size of the hole, so I called the seller. He was very helpful, and found the information for me: this pull will fit slides with a hole that is at least 2mm.
Delivery was super-fast, and several days later I had the little gizmo in hand, hoping I'd have my hoodie back. Sure enough, the U-shaped wire pushed through the hole in the slide, and then slid into the two holes in the pull. It required some strong pressure to insert the wire ends into the plastic, but after some resistance they both slid home with a reassuring click.
The pull is ergonomically shaped with a bit of an S-curve for a positive grip, and a correct angle to zip. This pull looks much better than the flimsy pull that had originally been on my hoodie.
I am delighted with this little fixer!! I will use the second pull on another hoodie, breaking off the still-functioning pull. And I will buy another packet of two to replace the pulls on my other hoodies. I'm considering buying a dozen to replace all of the pulls on my outdoor things.
