These hedge shears deliver smooth, precise cuts regardless of the foliage you are pruning. Eliminates crushing and "chewed" cuts. Blades are made of hot hammer-forged "Izumo Yasuki Steel", which is used in the making of Japanese swords-giving them maximum sharpness and cutting power. Tempered to a 60 on the Rockwell scale. 7 5/8" blade, 22" overall.

Do not buy that Fiskars junk... spend a little more and get these.
May the Force be with you.
I do have some "don't try this at home" advice. If you cut long grass, then want to toss the cuttings into the wheelbarrow bare-handed, CLOSE the shears before laying them in the grass.

I can attest that these are so sharp that I registered shock more than I felt pain.
Summary: Buy these. Be super duper careful; pretend they're a running chain saw. Keep pets inside while using them.
Someone asked about the angle of the blades to the handles. I will post a couple of pics here showing the shears from a side angle.
