I really enjoy using this crazy big spatula for BBQ. Pulled pork, 14 lb brisket, whole chicken, all handled well and made transfer to a wrapping station for butcher paper/aluminum (or whatever your pleasure) really easy and fast. For larger pieces or heavier pieces, I just had to support the end opposite the handle as it's still 14 lbs of meat at the end of a spatula... didn't want to risk an accident.
But this works especially for big pieces of meat that is starting to fall apart. It keeps everything together better than holding the meat in your hands. There were a couple of large spatulas here on Amazon, and I was looking at another from Traeger, but this one has some nice grooves in the front that match with my Traeger grill grates which helps a bit to get under the meat.
Plus your wife will look at you like you've gone mad, which is a bonus.

I like the full tang and the arched handle, really helps with leverage and balance when I used it on a pork shoulder. It's definitely big, I took a picture next to some other common large grill/smoker spatulas. I didnt see what grade of stainless steel this is in the item description. Either way a magnet had a firm grip on it. For the price and seemingly good quality I think it's a good purchase. I smoke a lot and if anything changes I will update this review.
