Man, this book was hot!
I loved Christy and Kyle---their chemistry leaps off the page :-)
Christy was an intriguing mix. Kind of a nerd in highschool (when she first met Kyle), she’s no shy violet---she’s a go-getter, full of wit and spunk, and loyal to her friends. She’s also very honest and upfront about her desires, which made me love her all the more.
Especially loved the part when Kyle explained about the big misunderstanding they had in highschool.
And that ending---it was raw, and honest, and sweet---just right :-) After all, it’s not really an ending, but a beginning.
My favorite part of the story is that high school flashback... Christy's and Kyle's angst-ridden prom date best buried and left in the past. Oh, high school life! <3 *grins* This story made me remember my rather dull high school but that's okay, I'd hate to be humiliated in any way, be it due to misunderstanding or otherwise.
With that said, I feel like Tracy, I always say I'd love to learn how to swim someday but I never get around to doing it. At least I was able to snorkel, but only because I had two licensed diver friends, two doctors, not to mention my hubby with me when I did. Otherwise, I'd never ever brave it out. Maybe I really should learn how to swim. I'd love to try diving next.<3
