I bought these for a bunch of country themed weddings I have to attend this summer, one of which I am a bridesmaid in a teal dress. The stitching on these is more vibrant in person than in the picture. You can definitely tell that it is teal from a distance. In the photo, it looks more muted, almost a grey. The brown leather is beautiful and a gorgeous consistent color. A darker brown right on the toe. I didn't notice that from the picture. I wore these for a 10 hour work day and they were comfortable the first time. Like they are pre-broken in. I brought back up shoes to work in case I needed them. The height is nice. I do have muscular calves as a cyclist and soccer player. These are a little more snug than I was expecting. I don't know if that is usual or not. The pictures I see of people in cowgirl boots seem to have a lot of space between leg and boot, I do not. It is not tight, but there is not a big gap by any means.
If I had a ton of money, I would buy a pair of these boots in every color. I think they will be my go-to boots for many years. They have been pushed above my Frye riding boots in the rotation. My boyfriend is a real cowboy, and they even get the pass from him. Even though these are kickers, I will not be going near any poo in these bad boys.
