There are products out there that cost 5 times as much as this. I have a stainless cup that fits this thing, and I pour my liquid into that. I don't want to infuse my chicken at 450 degrees with screen printed beer can paint. A glass will work just as well. You don't need metal. I use a drip pan underneath, and there you go.

Works for small turkeys as well.

This is a great fix for the "tipsy" beer can chicken. We have a three burner grill so we set the chicken in the center and light the two outside burners to eliminate flare-ups. Also, set the holder in a disposable foil pan to catch drippings if you want to make gravy.

Very well built. I Use it on my 22.5 inch Weber Kettle and it works great - however there is only a little clearance under the top of the lid. Probably couldn't fit 2 big chickens without a riser on the grill. I just wipe it clean and leave outside.

If you love Beer Can Chicken as much as we do, this is the way to go. Set it in a square cake pan, to contain the drippings for
gravy, and no worries about it tipping over and burning somebody in the flare up from the coals. It was always a hassle
to get the chicken balanced on the beer can. Cut the top off the can and it works even better. We love the moist white breast meat.

If you like outdoor grilling - you must take the opportunity to try beer can chicken. And this is the perfect device to do it with. Buy two. And then, before you get ready to grill, buy 10-inch aluminum pie plates and put these (with chicken over beer can) on top of the pie plates. Put on top of grill. Get the recipe for Memphis Rub, and follow directions. My family's favorite summertime grilling meal.
