I'm a long-standing SF fan with a wide range of interests. I started writing SF in 2005. My intention has always been to write SF that's packed with ideas that provide a challenge and inspiration for SF thinkers. My first trilogy, AFTER EARTH TRILOGY, is extreme fantasy, totalised space opera. It explores agency, resistance and visibility in a hostile universe. My second trilogy, NEW WORLD TRILOGY, is near-future, realist SF. It focuses on emergence, entropy, revolution and personal agency, and it's not an easy read.
This year I wrote and published the SPECTRAL FUTURES collection of near-future SF stories that explore a range of overlapping and competing themes. They should be more accessible than my previous work. All five stories have now been published: BIOHACK, DRONES, BIOSPHERE, REGENERATOR, and NOMADIC CITY.
