We're back with hope, Gabriel, Eros, Kieron, and others in Olympian Heritage, book 2 in the Olympian Challenger series and I for one am ready for book 3.
Hope is expected to travel back to Earth and find the Well of Life to return to the Gods to restore their immortality, but she doesn't want to head back to Earth alone. Once she's back on Earth, people start popping out of the woodwork, family members, friends, and questionable people that could be friend or foe. Everyone wants the fountain of life and they will kill for it.
I loved how Arditi sent them on multiple quests, introducing new Gods and possible allies. I was happy when Kieron made his appearance in a positive light, as I've grown rather fond of him. Arditi has done a superb job telling an intriguing story with mythology. Olympian Heritage is much like a thrill ride, with loops, twists, and turns that have you racing to see what is going to happen next. I'm a bit gutted by the ending, so I will sit and wait patiently as I know there's going to be good things in store.

This was truly a great second book! Our heroine is proving to be one strong lady! I am loving the addition of the othwr gods and goddesses. (Espeically Thetis) But learning of ones Hertiage can be dangerous. Will these new additions be Friend or foe?

I highly recomend this series! Its exhilarating and will leave you needing more!! I'm so ready for Book 3.

The color and detail of the story is so rich and varied that it makes reading this a lot of fun. The plot and characters are unique and not like anything else I’ve read. Two things I wish though: 1) Heroine has some weird reactions to things sometimes. I swear I thought I missed a page sometimes because she was offended or angry about something that Made no sense to me. That was off putting because I’d have to stop and think back to try to understand why she was having such an extreme reaction. 2) I love Keiron and hope that when the two of them finally do get physical, the scene does not fade to black. That is one of the main reasons why I’m reading this series! I want steam! Please!?! And more interaction between him and heroine. Their love story has been sort of told in bits and bursts. Would love to see some more expanded scenes with them. BUT the story is engaging and unique. Can’t wait for last book.

A slow start, then the story has you in its clutches again and you're grasping for book 3

While this book continues pretty much straight after the last, it took me a while to get into the story again. After rereading the last few chapters though, I was fully up to speed again.

World building was good. This instalment takes us back to earth, the author describes all scenes and environments very clearly, so you can focus more on the story itself.

Character building was good. I had a few issues with how Hope reacted to Kieron first and Raiden second and how that evolved. I think a bit extra time for more insight in her feelings and reasoning (especially later on in the book) would have been beneficial. That being said, I loooooove Kieron! :D
Our support cast could have had a tad more depth, Gabriel only seems to have eyes for Eros instead of actually helping Hope.

Pacing and flow were very good, while the start to half of the book was a bit slower, it gave time to set all the pieces, give us a lot of information and get to know all the players on the board. Because when the pacing did pick up, the story has you well and truly in its clutches :)

The book in itself was well written and I found no (noticeable) errors. There is no sex described in this book.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and though in my opinion the first is still the best, it's another amazing book! Loved the ending so now I really cant wait for the next instalment :D

This second book in the Olympian Challenger series starts straight after book 1, and then takes the reader on an amazing journey. If you thought you met a lot of gods, heroes and beings from mythology in book 1, just wait until you read this one - it's jam-packed with so many it's bursting at the seams!! A really enjoyable read that will keep you turning the pages from beginning until end, desperate to find out what happens... And then get left on a cliffhanger!! Can't wait to read book 3, and hopefully it will be very early in 2019 that it gets released, or I might combust from the pressure of waiting!!
