The Olympus basically does everything for me. I don't like playing with ISO and shutter speeds, but this camera can take the guesswork out of it based on the modes you set it on. The art mode also gives some beautiful effects, particularly the sepia tones. And the keystone compensation is great when photographing things like buildings, stained-glass windows, etc that you want to look "normal" (ie, no trapezoidal distortion).
There are only a couple of reasons I didn't give it five stars. 1) for a mirrorless camera, it still makes a lot of noise unless you set it to "indoor", which takes out the focus beeping sounds 2) It's a little slow to focus and sometimes doesn't "get" what I want it to focus on. That has ruined a few shots that I thought would have turned out great. It's not always easy to tell how focused a photo is until you see it on a bigger screen like a computer. It has an autofocus function, but that's only usable in complete auto mode. So take several pictures of the same subject to make sure the focus is good.
So, if you're a "professional" photographer, these things will probably bug you. But if you're making the switch to mirrorless and want to play around and learn different methods of photography, this is a pretty good buy. I do recommend buying better lenses than the kit one, which doesn't have much of any zoom, though I'm learning that lenses can become a bit of an addiction for photographers! Overall, great camera; loving it so far!

1) My DSLR doesn't take videos and I am videoing my children's sporting events. It works very well. Note that because of EU regulations, you must have videos that are 29 minutes or shorter. I film periods/halves, etc and then splice them together using editing software.
2) internal stabilization was important to me (as opposed to stabilization built into the lenses). My videos (I am using a tripod) have been smooth and I am not the least bit sea-sick watching the videos.
3) it takes amazing photos, as well and I don't have to carry a camera and a video camera.
4) several folks at games have commented, "that is an awesome little camera/set -up you have there."
5) there is an adapter for my DSLR lenses, I opted to by all new micro 4/3 lenses as there is less room for light to come in (ie through the adapter if it doesn't fit absolutely perfectly) and the lenses are SOOOOOOOO much smaller than the ones I have on my DSLR. Further, the adapter, itself was more expensive than the 40-150mm micro 4/3 lens, itself. That said, from what I've read, all the Olympus 4/3 lenses will fit with an available adapter.
6) I have the "silver" model and it's really retro and I admit, I like the look (really has nothing to do with quality, I know, but the aesthetic is nice)
I'm sure there will be more as I use it more, but that's what I have for now
