Only complain is that they are a little tight in the ankle, but that may just be me.
TLDR, if you only have $20 to buy socks, get two packs of costco ones. If you already have an arsenal of wool socks, and you are slowly replacing them as they wear out, don't get anything other than these.
Out of curiosity I tried the socks on myself (I wear size 12 medium shoes) and the foot/toe part almost fit me, just tight around the toes. Right out of the package the socks look as if they are man’s sock foot attached to a woman’s sock from the ankle on up, i.e., disproportionately long at the toes.
I have no information on longevity and durability and wicking of the socks because my wife was unable to wear them. The socks were of average comfort except for the overhanging fabric at the toes.
Enter Omniwool. These socks have real extra padding on the heel and front toe, which are the areas most human beings are prone to getting them. This is an enormous benefit which brings the fun back in hiking with these boots.
These socks are in the medium weight range and feel very comfortable and plush on your feet. You definitely won't regret buying yourself a set.
If you go on YouTube you will find some people have posted short videos stating their personal views that OmniWool socks beat out the competition. This is good entertainment value in of itself and I highly recommend this. It is hard to disagree with people that choose to post 3 minute videos detailing their personal sock choices. I know I wont fault them.
