An excellent value in a longbow, although the price here is significantly higher than you'll find elsewhere. You'll need to add an arrow rest- the basic Bear Hair rest is my choice for traditional archery. Absolute beginners might start with a 35 lb bow. Hunters, note that a 45 lb bow is all you need to penetrate all the way through a deer with a sharp broad head.

There are several Korean-made longbows on the market now. Besides those from OMP, there are several from Carton, Samick, and a good many more sold under private labelsbow, and all that I've tried are good. Archery is a passion with Koreans and they make very good bows. OMP makes two longbows, this and the Ozark Hunter for about thirty or forty bucks less, depending where you buy it, and as far as I can tell, the only difference between the two is that this bow has clear glass laminations, and the Ozark Hunter has dark green laminations. Something to consider if you're looking to save a few dollars.

This bow came in a broken tube but the bow was fine more then fine it was a sight for sore eyes, I can't believe how powerful this bow is good thing I'm strong, can't wait to get a deer or elk, and turkeys with this new bow of mine, what a great price for a high quality bow, if you are new to bows then I would say get a 45pound bow maybe even a 30 to 35 pound to start with just to get your arms strong enough to draw back this 60 ponder back, this thing is lighting fast, for a good hunter this is the longbow for you.!!!!!

Bow string was a bit too long for my brace height, but the bow is smooth and wonderful. Nice slim grip for easy shooting
