My son and I were very excited about getting this new drone and it's features are VERY appealing. Product showed up and the "security stickers" on the drone box were already OPENED. I thought that was odd but proceeded with setup and charging battery anyway (took a picture of the stickers before opening too). Charged battery overnight and download the control app on both my phone and sons ipad. New drone so obviously there is a "learning curve" on first few uses, however I noticed immediately that the batttery charge was at "79%". I know lithium-ion batts can be.... strange? First use we only got 4-5 min of fly time and it was pretty much all take off and landing practice. Recharged the battery until led bar said it was full. This time it said 75% charge when it was turned on....So again, 4-5 min of flying and trying to get used to controls and features. Kept recharging battery and even let it charge for 48hrs at one point. Not one time did we ever get anything higher than 79% charge or more than 6 min of fly time so I gave up and applied for return which was accepted. We liked the unit very much but the battery issue was a deal breaker. Doing more reading it also seems as if the control app could use some improvements as well. One primary thing I'd suggest is a tracking app. If the control app crashes, like many have said it does, why couldn't you just open another app to use GPS to find this rather expensive toy? Overall I think it's a good drone - hovers well, controls well and picture quality is great. But if it flys off to places unknown there's no way to find it. I can't see this being a big deal to "add on" a tracking feature. We will probably buy another one and give it another run. If the battery works out we will keep it and prob buy another battery to extend use. I'll change my rating if this is the case.
